Great price for a great drop.
It is advertised as "Cellar sale" in store in Leichhardt NSW, alongside many other good discounts
Not sure if available in other stores, none of them seem available online.
Receipt attached if it can help!

Not sure why you were negged, legit question.
The 18YO is rich, sweet and fruity, similar characteristics to the 12YO, but the 18YO is far better in my opinion.
Great price to try now.
Take it easy Epstein…
Definitely worth it for me, I like a 12yo to drink more regularly and save the 18yo for special occasions. I tend to find many special occasions though…
Benefit of older whisky too is that it doesn't lose much if opened for longer either (beyond evaporation). Probably 18+ is when it remains more faithful over time.
Might look into this as an occasional
Great price when 129 at Nicks
Probably would depend more on how much air is in the bottle and the light/temperature of where it's stored than how many years it sat in a barrel before bottling!
@pingponged: Definitely. But if you were going to keep say an expensive bottle of whisky for special occasions there will be long periods of (enlarging) air in the bottle.
The reason older whiskies maintain their flavour better than younger ones if left open for longer periods is that they have undergone more oxidation in the barrel leaving less room for further oxidation and thus flavour change once opened.
Personally wouldn't know the difference but I'm sure some would
I found the 12yo a bit harsh.
I dunno. Drinking the 12yo now, and is not bad at all…. ;-)

Single malt drinkers have been triggered haha
Smokey cokey is a thing. Never tried it myself, but even Scottish distilleries are getting on the band wagon
As someone who very recently took a good single malt Bruichladdich over to his girlfriends dads house for him to try with me because he "liked scotch" only to have him mix it with dry ginger before my very eyes, YES WE ARE TRIGGERED!
Just finished a Glenlivit 18, can't think of a good enough reason to leave that space empty!
Good price!
Out of curiosity which 18yo expression specifically is this?
Thank OP
Any way to get dans to match this?
In vic
Would love to try thid
dans sold out in store and online for most of the country they said,
is this available anywhere else?
My heart hopes so, but my wallet doesn't….
If I can find one, you are welcomed for a drink
Is it advertised online at all or just in store? Would love to pick it up if it's available at my local vintage cellars
No stock at Melbourne CBD or South Melbourne stores.
Thanks. Save me going.
I love the Bowmore 12, how does this compare? Worth the extra?
