I can’t find this advertised on the web site so I’m not sure if it’s been available for some time already - feel free to comment below if you know more info. I had to hire a car at Melbourne airport to drive into NSW and saw a sign in the window for ‘No One Way Fees’. When I enquired the girl at the counter said it’s to support people during COVID-19. I was able to get a car with drop off in Sydney city for just the cost of the hire, but drop off in Wollongong (which will be closer to my destination) is $385. I’m assuming this means it’s free between major centres where it’s likely the agency is corporate owned, and you should be able to see correct pricing when booking online.
If not, you would need to hire the car for 14 days minimum (ie. no one would).
