Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster!

Got a heads up from a friend that there would be some great clearance deals on wines and spirits at First Choice Liquor Market, Vintage Cellars and Liquorland starting today.

I don't have the entire list but went to my locals (Ashburton, VIC) and and spent alot more than I originally planned to! From what I can tell this is only in stores, not online.

Below are a few examples, there will be many more and the availability and products on special may vary from store to store so you'll have to take your chances and hopefully be in luck! I believe this is national though if anyone can comment if they've seen other discounts in stores, please comment.

Examples below:

Bannockburn Chardonnay 750mL $30 (Advertised at $60 online)

Glenfiddich 21 year Old single malt whiskey $177 (Advertised at $249 online)

Paringa Estate Pinot Noir 750mL $30 (advertised as $65 online)

Blackjack Block 6 Shiraz 750Ml $20 (advertised as $40 online)

  • So the discount is in store only?

  • any tequilas?

    • None at my local Liquorland in Woodend Victoria.

Lots and lots of “Special” tags, but mostly still cheaper at Dan’s or First Choice. A few “Half Price” on really cheap $10 wines.

  • +1

Yep I believe it’s only in store as the online price is still the regular price.

    • cheers - I'll take a run and see what the local has. That Paringa is amazing

  • thank you

will head out for a lunch time run to the local!

  • Could ozbargainers who visit a store report back so we know if it is one store or multiple having a clearance?

    • It’s national. The range may vary from store to store depending on how much stock they have. I was at first choice ashburton and vintage cellars ashburton this morning in VIC.

  • This is an amazing deal. Just hit up a first choice in Brisbane, St Hugo for 20 bucks a bottle. The staff member was saying that deals like this don't come around often and stock won't last long.

    • Which store was that?

  • Thanks OP. Went down to First Choice Bentleigh Vic at lunch time and got 4 x Paringa Pinot and 2 x Bannockburn Chardonnay @ $30 each.

They had Farr Rising and Yabby Lake Pinot for $30 a bottle as well.

    • Yup - picked up the FR and YL along with Punt Road for an easy drinking Pinot at $10

  • Nice deal for a first time post.
Just picked up a few Grant Burge Filsell for $20/bottle
Also some Tamar Ridge pinot for $10.
    Liquorland Footscray.
Spewing they didn't have the Farr Rising!

  • Picked up a bottle of Aberlour A’Bunadh for $76. Bargain, thanks OP!

Some other good deals on single malts:

    Glenlivet 21 $217
    Bowmore 12 $60
    Uigeadail $111

  • Thanks OP!
My best pick was Remy Martin XO for $140!
Green Label for $66 is a good price as well, not a big fan of Gold label but for $72….
    El Jimador Tequila $41, Angostura 1919 $60

    • Where did you find the xo please? Which store?

  • Thanks OP. Just cleared out Liquorland at Doncaster Shoppingtown of 2 dozen now $5 reds, mostly from Limestone Coast and McLaren Vale
