Just picked one of these up today via click and collect. I couldn't find it when searching the site but it came up in Google Search

Stock seems very limited. The store I picked mine up from in Brisbane now has no stock left and looks like I got the last one in the Brisbane area

Anyway good price nearest price is $49 at Big W.

The price is literally the reason we are on this site! :)

  • Dumb question - can this work on car tyres and/or footys?

    • +1

only comes with a pinch valve adaptor and an oversize one maybe with if you can hack the adaptor on to it but it doesn't punch out the high pressure so probably not suitable for car tyres

Its for low pressure things only.

    • It's for an air mattress or you can use to blow dust.

Just a heads up that these normally contain a small SLA battery. This means you need to continually charge it every few weeks. Especially in summer. It's not a pump you can pull out once a year for a camping trip. Personally I use a chorded / cigarette lighter 12v pump and connect it to a drill battery when I need it portable. 18v spins it up nice n fast. If you do want the SLA version, Kmart normally have one as well for $25.

    • Its not that you can't pull it out once a year for camping, its that you shouldn't.

I have an old one that still works without maintaining it.

But its not a very good pump and the battery is a huge flaw.

Personally I just use an ozito pump that can use the power x change batteries.

    • Sounds awesome. How do you adapt the 12v cigarette lead to work off your 18v battery?

      • Bought a 12v female plug outlet from eBay.

Then opened the battery charger and simply soldered the + / - wires onto battery terminal spots. Drilled a hole through the plastic for the wires.

Taped the female 12v outlet to the side of charger.

So my charger is also a portable 12v outlet. Used 12/ 14/ 18v batteries in it with no issue with the pump (just spins faster). Might need to be more careful with other 12v sensitive equipment if using an 18v battery.

        • Awesome! Thanks!

  • Is this good for blowing down PC components?
