      Hey, thanks! Glad someone read the details. I saw a similar post that spoke of $99.95 RRP and Amazon price matching another retailer got lots of OZB hits, which left me very confused too. Since we're in dialogue, you may care to know:

      • I posted a customer question to AmazonAU enquiring on the pre-order bonus and got no response. So right now as it stands, since it's not explicitly mentioned, it is best to assume you don't get it.

      • The 'Pre-order price guarantee' website gives no details on how to make a price challenge claim https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=…

      • Maybe you know a better way to tell AmazonAU that they're missing content and are too expensive? I have not been able to find a way to get in touch with an actual human, so if we (as a community) could share a link on how to do so that'd be great!

        Exactly,as it stands HN has the best deal so should be in the title. If Amazon decides to price match then you could add it to title later

        Based on past experiences all the pre order content will be in every copy at every retailer. So I wouldn't worry too much.

      Usually, go back to ~ $78 and stay for a month if it's AAA high rated game then gradually decrease. Considering next gen consoles are releasing later this year. PS4 games price will fall overall

    Whelp. Looks like Amazon screwed up the delivery again (they screwed me on Last of Us 2 release date too) - just got notification it's arriving Monday.

    I checked in yesterday to enquire whether there was any delay, they promised it on release date.

    Looks like I'll have to jump on customer support and complain again. Sigh.

    It's frustrating to miss a Friday release, missing out on a whole weekend especially when they've had weeks to get this right.

      That's unfortunate. They're pretty spot on in Sydney CBD and deliver like clockwork on release days. Particularly when it's to a parcel locker. Maybe consider that as a future option?

      It's not the same logistics drivers as the ones to homes.

        It's just very disappointing. I will never pre-order a videogame again from Amazon AU. I have never had a problem with JB Hi-Fi delivering on-time, and they use AusPost.

        I did all the right things including asking a representative weeks ago (who assured Last of Us 2 was an irregular problem), then yesterday check-in (which would have given time to collect from other retailers).

        Now I'm being told in order to resolve, I have to wait for end of day Monday to close a report and/or return the item. They will not let me cancel now, saving us both the time and energy - despite it still being in the Amazon warehouse according to AusPost log, who've only received notification not collection.

        I should also importantly point out if you go to the Amazon product page right now it still states "Pre-order Price Guarantee. FREE delivery by Tomorrow, Jul 17"

          Also, why the hell are we not getting any kind of vouchers for this? they screwed up the order date. It is misleading advertising

          I was told in the chat "maybe it will arrive tomorrow at night" so I'm gonna wait and see

          on some occasions i get delivery on a saturday. i too asked support and they assured it'll be delivered on release.

    Yep the money for my copy with Amazon came out on Wednesday. I got email month ago guaranteeing release date delivery. I live in Brisbane, it is Friday and has still not been sent. 2nd time they have messed up a preorder. I would suggest to go with jbhifi next time.
