  This had been on my list of games to play for a while but I ended up getting New Dawn for $10 a while ago. Just finished it and honestly was over it by the end. As I understand it, New Dawn was just the Far Cry 5 map reskinned. For those that have played 5, is the gameplay, story, etc different enough from New Dawn to bother getting 5?

    The gameplay like most of the series is very similar with slightly different weapons and abilities etc, the story is quite different. I would say that if you enjoyed New Dawn then you'll enjoy Far Cry 5.

    I enjoyed FC5 more than New Dawn for what it's worth.

    Like any Ubi game, very little changes between iterations. Give yourself a lengthy break then go back in on another one if you've got an itch.

      Probably the right move. I'll wait until 5 is nice and cheap before I pick it up after I've forgotten about New Dawn
