  Finally bit the Bullet Bill and got myself a Wii! Really good deal considering these units still allow for gamecube backwards compatibility.
  Trading in Avatar for approx $10 - bargain I say.

    Wii U's will cost a bomb, what with each controller having its own screen.
    Though it's HD, it'll be awhile yet before great games are developed. This makes the current Wii a great choice for gamers with a budget - superb titles at a fraction of the original cost.
    Seeing how Nintendo's emphasis has never been on graphics, this 'superseded' idea is a non-issue really.
