Are any of these body fat scales accurate?

  • +1

    It's not accurate

    • my xiaomi shows i’m 87kg my soehnle scales say i’m 91 kg …..bought the xiaomi so i could start to do things like store weight loss progress on phone etc but if it can’t even weigh properly what is the point …..and which one is correct the soehnle or the xiaomi ?

Unless you are a jockey, your absolute weight is almost meaningless - if you're trying to lose weight, the measure compared to the last (or first) reading is all that is important. I am using one of the cheap smart scales that pop up from Amazon, and while I don't put much faith in the accuracy of their readings, the consistency is pretty good - if I've gone from 72kg to 71kg I've lost weight, and it doesn't matter if I was 72 or 172 to start.
