I already have these but great to pick up a second pair for the price. Very relaxed sound profile; not for those who like pronounced treble.

No mention of aptX so do they lag when used on a tv? Seem to have lots of pairing issues in reviews but are not pricey I suppose.
These are AAC, no AptX. I wouldn't recommend use for pure TV watching but for the occasional YouTube video the lag is manageable for me.
I wouldn't recommend any TWS for TV use, but if you are using a PC to watch videos with VLC then the J and K keys let you adjust audio lag, works perfectly.
Have used these for a while as well as the newer GT1 Pro model, happy to answer any questions people have.
This is a great price imo, cheaper than what they normally go for on Aliexpress, with the benefit of amazon familiarity.
For anyone that has not yet tried TWS earbuds, they are really game changing with how convenient and portable they are, so for this kind of price I would really suggest giving it a go.
Compared to other TWS earbuds in this price range, I would say the highlights are the tiny case and the very clean/discreet design of the case and buds. Sound quality is fine, not gonna blow you away but perfectly adequate for casual listeners like me.
Connectivity is as expected for this price range, with the master-slave earbud priority (GT1 Pro improves on this). Can also stay paired to multiple devices at the same time.
Battery life is about 3hrs on the buds, with a couple of extra charges with the case (but no way to check case battery).
Overall really solid earbuds, and for the price, I think they are a great entry into this category. Have been using mine for almost a year and so far have not felt any need to upgrade beyond the very-similar GT1 Pro.
So once these are paired, can you pull say the left only and it'll work without having to pull out the right?
I had a qcy that could do this, great for swapping earbud if your just using one to listen. Unfortunately it fell on the road and got run over.
Sadly not. That's the limitation of the master-slave system if you ever hear that referenced. You can use the right only (since its the master and communicates directly with the phone), but not the left (since its the slave and only communicates with the right bud).
Technically, you can pair the left directly to your device (it comes up as a separate headphone), but this is really inconvenient as it will search for the right bud for 10+ seconds before it starts connecting your phone. Also, if you want to listen with both, you'd then have to reconnect via the right bud.
According to Kenneth there are newer version that has this issue rectified though

The qcy I had got the right earpiece destroyed, it co tongued to work for another week with just the left ear but then connection dropped out. I'm assuming it was connected directly since the right ear piece had the battery severed off.
I ordered this anyways since its only $21. Best case scenario is that the haylou will fit in the qcy case, then I'd get a 20+ hour battery instead of the 12hour rating.
@krisspy: That's interesting. QCY has a pretty big range of buds in this price range so I guess some of them must have the direct connection.
There is definite lag, so I wouldn't use the GT1s for video watching. The microphone is poorly placed so I wouldn't be using these to make calls. But for $22, the sound quality is awesome & I highly recommended them for cheap Bluetooth earbuds.
I found the sound quality surprising & in line with $50 Soundpeats & Taotronic earbuds found on Amazon.
Good Review!
I haven't used it much for Mobile calls but the microphone works better than expected with video conferencing on my work laptop. These have been my COVID go to earphones for Microsoft Teams even above my other wireless headsets. They have good range and keep a nice stable connection.
For the price you can't go wrong.
How has your experience been using them for phone calls? For me the volume range is super loud (ie. min volume is too loud and max is even louder) when I use it for phone calls. For all other uses it is fine. Would be interested to know if you've had the same problem. Cheers
Honestly haven't really used them much for phones calls but when I have I agree they have been quite loud.
I do remember I needed to adjust the volume down quite a lot when I initially paired them to the PC as the default setting was way too loud, even for my half deaf ears.
@darmz: From my experience windows likes to set default volume to 100 when you connect anything to it .. not sure why anyone thought that would be a good idea.
I have this one. It's great for listening to music or watching videos, not so much for games.
Seems the code only works with the white?
There is another variant that works with the code, it think from the shape it's actually "GT2". The case doesn't have lid (using magnet to secure the buds) and the earbuds have physical buttons instead of touch.
Also there is another variant there called GT1 Pro. It's actually quite confusing that they listed all these variants under colours.
Just pulled the trigger on the white one (I think it's the only variant with discount and updated bluetooth dual pairing). Delivery is free because the price before discount is $39.99 which qualifies for free shipping.
Gave the reviews on Amazon a read, seems like a nice entry point for someone who's never given bluetooth head phones a go (aka me). Cheers for the share!
