There is nothing that is much easier to make than a quick bread or loaf. Just mix up the ingredients, put the mixture in the pan, set the timer for around an hour and go do some other things. Come back when the timer goes and you have a lovely, fresh, home-made treat that everyone will love.
I often make a loaf/quick bread and once it is well cooled slice it. I then freeze it and if I want a slice or two for a lunch for my husband I just go to the freezer and get a couple of slices. Having a frozen loaf is also great if you end up with unexpected company. Just take several slices out of the freezer, wrap them in paper towel and defrost them in the microwave. Works a treat.

"there is nothing that is much easier to make than a quick bread or loaf".
What absolute b.s.
I stopped reading at this point.
Here's one thing (of hundreds) that's easier and quicker to make. A cheese sandwich.
You need to make the bread before you make the sandwich.
Not if you buy the bread from the shop, instead of buying flour and yeast.
Someone still needs to buy the flour and yeast for your sandwich.
You make the cheese too?
Just take several slices out of the freezer, wrap them in paper towel and defrost them in the microwave. Works a treat.
PSA - This is what the defrost/lowest setting on toasters is for. Non-soggy frozen bread is life!
Don't you dare touch my toaster setting, it's taken years to perfect.
That's what two toasters are for :)

i thought this was code for how to make old skool cash quickly as a side hustle…
Itβs a book we all knead, whether we dough it or not.
Weird.. I get a message saying…

I make bread every weekend. It takes less than 10 minutes prep and comes out wonderfully.
All you need is flour, yeast, salt and warm water.
The given recipes are in cups/tbs measurments which is always a hit or miss(most likely a miss). Instead of yeast the loaves require baking powder, and with baking powder in breads you'll get a product simillar to a one rise yeast bread.
I can give you a bread recipe which I always stick with:
1kg strong flower which has at least 12% protein(gluten)
640ml water
14gr yeast
8gr salt
Mix in a bowl untill the ingredients are combined, then knead the dough by hand for 10 minutes on a bench. I don't recommend mixers as you dont know if the dough is just spinning around on the hook.
Let it rise untill it reaches double it's size, knock out the air, shape your bread and let it rise again double in size, then put it in a preheated oven at 180C. Make sure you have both heating elements on or you know your oven well because you want the bread to be baking on both sides, top and bottom. If your oven has only 1 heating element, you can take the bread out from the cooking tray and flip it around towards the end.
You can make any quantity of bread you like, just keep in mind the proportion of the ingredients.
A few tips:
The more dough rises, the better your bread, you can even leave it over night in the fridge to slowly rise.
Spray your bread with water before baking and put a pot of boiling water inside your oven while baking, makes the crust crispier.Great. Now the real question is where I can find yeast
I bought yeast during the week from an Asian vege store…
It was like $4 for 500g pack or whatever it was… Came in a red pack.
I've used it numerous times and it's worked alright :)
