I have been using ForkLift 2 for a long time. 66% off, good enough price to upgrade.
[Mac] ForkLift 3 - File Manager & FTP Client USD $10.95 Incl GST (Was USD $29.95 + GST)

Agreed.
Additionally SSHFS +OSXFUSEI haven't tried Forklift 3, but I've used v2 a bit. Forklift supports a lot more services than just S/FTP/S that Filezilla supports. Visually it is nicer than Filezilla. Last I checked Filezilla was still storing credential as plain text in an xml file. I'd say that's worth $10 if you need this type of tool.
Edit It turns out there is now (the non open source) FileZilla Pro that has a similar feature set to Forklift 3. The IAP to unlock those features is 15AUD. I doubt Apple would allow them to store creds in plain text.
Does seem to do a lot more than I thought. Interesting.
I used this mainly as Finder replacement. I am used to the dual pane for file operations. The other features are bonus. For free FTP client on mac os, I prefer cyberduck (https://cyberduck.io/) than FileZilla as it looks more native. On Windows I do use FileZilla.
I use ForkLift as a Finder replacement for queued local file transfers. But for quick and dirty ftp transfers, FileZilla is fine.
Thanks for this. For someone that just recently moved from Windows, this feels much more intuitive for me as compared to Finder
Anyone after a good finder replacement should also check path finder, it's not as cheap as forklift (especially it's on sale now), but I found the features are better.
My 2 cents
Yeah I like and used to use Path Finder too. Agree that the price is advantage to ForkLift at the moment.
Lol, love your username must be good being a local security guy :)
haha fellow indonesians :)
Advantage over FileZilla that’s free, open source and works with Mac, Linux and Windows?
