    FWIW:

    While shopping for a Dreame v9 I came across a Dyson V10 Animal is available refurbished from dysonoutlet on ebay. Ships from US but with a 20% code I ended up paying $371.54 USD inc shipping and import taxes.

    At current exchange rates and using 28degrees Mastercard I expect to pay AU $567.97. Comes with 6 months warranty and unsure if it is worldwide. I have only ever had batteries fail in my Dyson's so I'm not too concerned.

    As far as accessories that come with the V10 Animal, it seems to have better tools that the "V10 Animal Pro" which sells for slightly more.

        With an adapter it is annoyingly simple yet never very neat. Mine will be tucked away so it won't bother and will be secure.

      Yes it's easy but don't just push the button and let the door fling open as you'll most likely miss wherever you're aiming at. Hold the door while pressing the button and you'll have better control once you let the door open to empty it.

    Bought one with the carpet attachment. Fingers crossed this is much better than the last time I got this style of vacuum cleaner (Kogan Corded stick one, was really disappointed)

      shame the v9 doesn't come with flexible hose yet the more expensive v10 does. But the v10 doesn't come with the carpet head.

    Currently have a Dyson V7 that works well but it seems to need the filter cleaning quite frequently, like every 2 weeks or so or it does this pulsing thing. I believe this is a common issue with the V7's. Anyone know if the Xiaomi has any issues like this? If not, might switch.

    Guys, if you are getting a vacuum cleaner, I would suggest to consider a Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner. I got one since a few years ago and I am very happy with it. It does pretty much all daily cleaning for my household, I've not touch my manual vacuum cleaner since the day I brought it!

    I got one of these… works well on Max power, the rest of the power modes are a bit useless tbh… My only concern is that it doesn't seem possible to replace (or even buy) a battery when the original dies…
