What’s yours ? Mine is Prima Taste Laksa with whole grain noodles from Asian shops. Pricey but oh so worth it! Tastes exactly like the restaurant!
Best instant noodles ever
Comments
Seconded. My favourite one is the Yukgaechang one
Lucky Me chilimansi
Oh my! agree! And Lucky me Sweet&Spicy!
mi goreng, always a favourite.
Looking for a good japanese made ramen, sold in australia, but no luck yet.
They sell Ichiran here but it's like $8 a packet if you buy a box of five
Take a look at ramenrater website, he is like the god of instant noodles .
My favourite Nissin is his #1 pick on this page: https://www.theramenrater.com/2014/12/30/hong-kong-2015/
Mi Goreng.
Or the crazy spicy one…the black one. Was really nice but struggled the next day.
Apparently there's a 2* one…never tried. Probably never will
If it's the Korean brand one with a cartoon chicken breathing fire, it's insanely hot. I like the flavour but the spicyness drowns it out quickly and it's just pain. My sis bought me a bottle of the chili oil/sauce from the same company and one drop on my tongue had me gagging.
Yes yes that one! I can still taste the flavour, but yes it is very spicy (for me anyway, some people probably can snort those things up their nose).
But I don't eat it anymore because I'll be spending half a day suffering.
What are you doing with the sauce now???
That's not Mi Goreng, that's Samyang.
Suimin curried prawn. it gots real prawns!
plus only noodle made in Australia and not made out of dead spiders in a factory in china
This is and the hot and spicy from the same brand are all time faves of mine
Shin (I think that's how u say it)
Korean one.. Good level of spicyness and I love the al dente noodlesI like Shin Ramen, sometimes I'm lucky and I find the premium one (Shin Ramen Black I think?) which isn't as spicy which is nice.
I used to have quite a bit of MiGoreng but now I have one called Mee Goreng (Myojo) which I really like, it has a stronger MiGoreng taste to it.
Prima Taste Laksa
I have this to, amazing Laksa, the noodles I actually like better then the ones in stores.
I really enjoy Jin Ramen mild.
Shin Ramen is great but way too spicy to for me. I find myself only using 1/4 of the spice mix.
Haha I do the same for Shin Ramen!
but Really too spicy!:D
Ramen from Daiso:
Tastes better than what you get from some actual ramen restaurantshttps://scontent-lga3-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.2885-15/fr/e1…
Great tip! I'll go to Daiso!
Mi Goreng Cabe Ijo. Hard to find this wicked taste noodle.
I had a friend whose son thought the picture of the prawn on his 2 minute noodles packet was a lizard. He'd often ask his mum for lizard flavoured noodles…
They're more expensive at around $2.5 a bowl but it's got actual bits of meat in it. The brand is Ichiban Delicious. Coles and Woolies sell it in Vic.
They are great too. You can buy a box of them at Costco and while awesome, the last batch I've had has had a chemical smell to them which put me off. Odd because before this batch I've never smelt it
Cup Noodle Cheese Curry flavor. I buy a box of them when I go to Singapore or Japan. It's amazing
Hot & spicy noodles by Trident found in Woolworths. Link
Just make it like a noodle soup and you cannot go wrong. If you are feeling peckish, add chilli flakes. Simple but but oh so tasty.
the best instant noodle is a free instant noodle
Maggi Mee Kari (curry) - has to be the one you find on the Asian shops not the Westernised rubbish in Colesworth. Been eating it for 25 years and the taste is still the same.
I like Sapporo Ichiban original flavour or chicken flavour the best. Wish I could find a tomato flavoured instant noodle though..
Buy a pack of instant noodles (just noodle cakes on their own), then buy instant tomato soup in little sachets. Either cook instant noodles in boiling water and then add the sachet of instant tomato soup or whack the noodles straight into soup and microwave together until noodles are to your liking (few mins). Easy!
Too salty for me. That's saying a lot lol
Mama tom yum flavour (Thai version)!
This is my favourite too!
Can't go wrong with yum flavour.
I notice the jumbo pack (90g) has a much better flavour then the smaller pack.
I think its a shame Amazon AU still doesnt import noodles…
Best price must be 5 pack chicken/beef instant noodles for $1 in three major supermarkets.
Yeah but they don't taste as great as the ones you find in Asian grocery stores.
They are made in Singapore and high percentage of Aussie ingredients.
The Tsuta Japanese Soba Noodles that you get from 7-11 in Japan. Not sure if it's available in Melbourne.
other than that the usual Shin Ramen , Mi goreng and Prima Taste Laksa.
711michelin instant from japan. It was great.
Shin Ramyun (ramen) with cheese(the single kind) and eggs. The cheese and egg combo makes it thicc.
Do you add Spam to it as well?
Sometime, usually fried and have it as a side.
Craving shin ramen now
Samyang. Can't be beaten.
