Another vote for Panasonic arc5.
I’ve used both Braun Series 9 (last gen) and the Panasonic arc5 (also last gen, see below) and in my experience the Panasonic does a much better job.
Shave is much closer and I feel it does it faster.

Arc 5 shaves fast, but in terms of comfort braun series 7 or 9 take the cake. They are some of the best shavers out there. So depends on your priorities
I found the opposite, bought an arc 5, never use my Braun series 9 now.
Ive got this one and am personally not impressed. Takes me 3 times as long to shave as my old Phillips 3 head shaver. It is good on my sensitive skin but I should have just replaced the blades in my old one and stuck with it. It does alright if you shave everyday but if you go a couple of days (a weekend) and then shave it takes a fair few passes.
I've had pretty much the same experience. Regret not getting another Phillips.
Other annoyances are the sheer size of the thing and the location of the on/off button. I've accidentally turned it off mid stroke on many occasions.
Isnt it odd how shaver experience vary so much from person to person. You have people below that say they are the best thing every yet i wouldnt recomend it to anyone. I dont know if it is just the norm for shavers to be like this and people have never experienced a shaver that cuts the hair after one or two passes.

Your linked one is 7865cc. OP's link is 7899cc. Do not know the difference , but they are different models on paper.
looks like the 7865cc is in gray colour, and the 7899cc is in silver. can not find any other difference. save extra $20 if you do not mind the colour.

Lol, I brought the silver one as well (before even know the Gray one exists) to replace my 15 years old series 5. Hope it may last another 10 years.
Silver is sold out on shavershop website, however still available at their eBay shop. Gray one is still available @199.
