Well, what point really is a remote-controlled pedestal? Most are fixed in place and the object (statue, obelisk or column) they support have (hopefully) no moving parts.
You say that, but I still managed to trigger you (a pedestal fan) remotely so…
Wish they have this in Hobart. Really want one cheap for the green room.

I bought a 45cm fan with a remote control at Kmart, and the size of the protective net is 45cm and the actual fan size is 40cm. I'm guessing it's a specification similar to this product, but the biggest problem is that the noise is quite loud enough to disturb you when you sleep.
I've got this model in 3 bedrooms and it's quite enough to run all night
This is marked as $23 but scans at $15 at Target Rhodes. Quieter than my $15 Bunnings fan which was quiet enough to sleep with anyway. The remote and timer are a bonus.

Anyone know if these look like they could be made wall mountable without much effort? It would make the remote remotely useful
You can mount anything to anything with enough cable ties and duct tape.
It clearly isn't made to be wall mounted, but being a pedestal fan I guess you could wall mount a pedestal style bracket. It would certainly be a conversation starter.
How much duct tape do I need to mount the girl I have a crush on?
