[Switch] Night Trap 25th Anniversary Edition - $3.59 (Was $17.99, 80% off) @ Nintendo eShop

A dumb, yet highly amusing game for a few sessions with a group of friends to have a laugh at whilst enjoying a C-grade horror film with a killer theme song

Can't believe they ported this. I still have the Sega CD and 32x cd game boxed up somewhere.

That'd be worth a few bob wouldn't it?

Sure why not, I've paid much more for much worse

  • Thanks! Been waiting to get this

  • so funny this is released

  • Why isn’t this game on PS4 or XBOX online stores?

    • I don't know

    • You can find it on the US PlayStation Store, but no idea why it's not in the AU region PS Store (looks like that applies to the EU region too).

Maybe Limited Run Games (listed as the publisher for the Switch version) hit some road bumps in publishing the game on other platforms here, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble to push through?

      EDIT:
The game was supposed to have an Xbox One release too, but it seems some time between late 2018 and early 2019, all references to that seems to have been scrubbed from the official site.

BTW, there's a PS Vita version on the US PS Store.

Funny that these days this scores a tame M rating. Back in the day this game had so much controversy that it would corrupt a generation that it was banned.

    • Did they modify part of the game?

  • Thanks for this. I just used some Nintendo points to get it. So cheap Had no idea it was on the switch.
Kind of fun but really hard.
Wanted to get this on Xbox Live or PSN but never got released here? So strange Nintendo of all companies got it.
So annoying trying to find good games on the switch. when so many mobile ports bog up the system

    • What sort of games are you looking for? I might be able to point you in the right direction of things to look out for
