  • I've been watching these on Cashies Webshop and Gumtree, they fetch big bucks second hand even if they are a bit tired.

    • +1

Cash converters are all over the place with prices, sometimes decent but mostly rrp minus a few bucks.

      • Agreed, they pay you peanuts and ask absorbent prices with just 3 months warranty

    Nailer? I hardly know her.

  • Bloody heavy. Air tool equivalent is more appropriate for large job.

That’s pretty good to include the battery and charger as well. Great price, but buyer be ware of Sydney Tools….

    • Yeah I've only bought a few things there and haven't had any trouble with em, but sorta why I listed some other options.

    • Why?

      • +1

It's all about options. Seems not everyone's a fan Sydney tools.

      • I still go from time to time

Just gotta be careful with them, don't let them push products on you.
Warranty can also be hard to deal with.
The unheard of brands of accessories and stuff they push hard. it's because they get massive (HUGE) commission/margins on it.

I know for a fact a lot of Sydney Tool workers either get poached or move to Total Tools because of the expectations and how they treat customers.

        • sydney tools seem to push their home brand on non-power tools and their home brand doesn’t seem cheaper than mainstream brands …..

    • Yes, poor service and unfriendly staffs. It reminded me of MSY :).

      • people go to msy for prices not service ……and people will stand inline to save money if they are time rich and money poor.

seems some items are o stock already ……

        • If you're time rich and cash poor, you order it online for cheaper and wait a day or two. MSY aren't the cheapest around but their USP is convenience. Having stores around that you can pop in for that cable, SSD, GPU etc right now (during day) is what they're good for. Some good service would improve that experience and bring more in.

BUNNINGS ARE PRICE MATCHING 😁 Just letting everyone out there know that the Bunnings I spoke to are not only price matching but bettering it by 10%

    • +1

Does Bunnings have this item DCN692P1-XE? Their one Dcn692m2-xe is different model (comes with 2x4ah batteries) not 1x 5ah battery. Please let me know as I want to buy one and already asked staff.

      • The store I'm going through has contacted DeWalt specifically. Keeping in mind this is for the powerpass special orders

        • I have Powerpass too, but the special order desk at Smithfield NSW told me today not possible to order it as their promo of this item sold out (was also $529). Anyway, thanks will contact them or another branch tomorrow and check if they can order direct from Dewalt.

          • @huntabargain: Mmhhh weird, I take it each store will have a different reaction. Try speak to the trade specialist, they might be more helpful.

Your welcome. Btw I have ordered 3 of them at the price if $479 so they were serious about it looks like you are to get the right person though
