Samsung 64GB USB3.1 Bar Plus Flash Drive Gray $29.95 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ The Good Guys

110

Seems like a popular deal in the past. Found this while trying to use the $20 credit (Nest Hub Max fiasco) for something worthwhile to buy.
As much as I don't like to give them any extra $$ for unnecessary spend, this proved useful.

Check ur local store for pickup or pay $5 postage.

I thought it was a good deal until I saw the write speeds.

    • How bad is it?

    • Buying from GG only cuz trying to use the $20 credit painstakingly

64gb for one of these at that price would be intolerable.

Yea, even for $9.95 & going into store to pickup is a risky feat.

More along the lines of, I bought one twice the size for that price, and 2160p seasons of the expanse run for like 100gb.

  • I bought the conair foot bath for $15 on top the $20

    • Is it USB3.1 ?

It should be illegal to make USB-A connectors now. It'll take a century to transition to type-C at this rate…

As someone who brought a USB C only laptop 3 years ago, I agree. But starting to think USB C will never take off.

Some people are always bringing their stuff, some actually buy it. So did you buy it and bring it, or just took it and brought it?

    • So true. It seems that USB-A is not going away anytime soon!

Because your macbook pro is the only device that matters? Most desktops have 4 to 10 usb A ports not to mention all the TVs, docks, media players, video surveillance, networking and a slew of other devices that use the USB A port

This $20 voucher expired yesterday though?

Since it doesn't have minimum spend I chose to buy headphones ($19) and concierge ($30) for $29 all up.

Planning to rape their concierge service for free batteries with the $9x20 store credits. Will provide smoke alarm batteries for all of the extended family.

Note: concierge allegedly cannot be activated without collecting the item in your order. In WA that isn't much of a risk. There are some states where I definitely wouldn't visit a store due to covid.
