That sort of money would be better spent on the mortgage! Surely it must be a typo…

    $696 for a 3GS 8GB? no thanks

    • +6

Yeah… also Save $288… more like waste $696.
iPhone 5 is just around the corner and surely Apple will release a cheaper version of iPhone 4.

      • i thought as soon as the new models are released, the old ones are no longer for sale through apple dealers

      • +2

lol. Or you could get a flagship Android device for 500$…and not wait and pay 1000$ :)

    LOL @ punctuation failure.

  • how is $29 an infinite plan? it's just a regular cap.
no infinite calls and text on this plan OP.

also "29 upfront" generally means that you pay a certain amount of money upfront when you begin your contract..like some cases with telstra.
if anything it's 29 postpaid, at the end of monthly usage.

Lol what a rip off. my iphone 3g is still on a $29 plan, i gotta drop it down onto liveconnected soon.

  • +1

Post is just misleading. $29 plan is not an infinite plan. Lowest infinite plan is $45/month with 24 month cost of $1080. Also it's $0 upfront not $29.

Good deal buy iphone they are the only best phones on earth. Top phones!!!!

    • I hope that's sarcasm.

careful jasecs, ozbargain is populated by Android Fanboi's who absolutely HATE Apple, regardless of it's popularity with the wider public. You see, apparently everyone who buys Apple is evil or dumb (or both) because they blindly eat up the marketing machine or something. I have an iPhone and am very happy with it, but I can see the benefits of an Android phone. No way I'm changing over though. I'm happy and that's all that counts.

(watch the negs roll in on this one :))

Are you suggesting that signing onto a 2 year plan with mediocre allowances for a 2 year old phone that will halve in value within the next few months is anything but a terrible idea? Hey, if it makes you happy…

        • umm… I made no mention of the 2 year plan, its allowances, stating that a 2 year old phone is a good purchase, or it's potential value in the future, or this specific bargain being a great idea…. but hey, nice rant anyway :).

My iPhone makes me happy, not this deal. And you'll note in the votes section of this deal i havent given it a positive vote at all.

(i believe thats plenty of ammo for an apology from you now… :))

It's on the Voda network. Enough said.
