Steam - 80% off Company of Heroes Series - $9.99 (or $7.98) for Complete Pack

230

Another of the steam deals appearing for the weekend!

This time, its Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, all 80% off!

It’s a pretty awesome game! Metacritic aggregates it at a 93/100!

I must note, although the Complete Pack is $9.99, its cheaper to buy the Gold Edition, which comes with the original game and the expansion, then buying Tales of Valor later… steam fails at recognising that you can buy them separately cheaper than the pack they have available.

Buy Gold Edition then Tales of Valor: $3.99 + $3.99 = $7.98
Buy Individually: $8.97
Buy Pack: $9.99

Your choice, I put it there as a note to all you OzBargainers out there how to get the sweetest deal!

Actually, its just a weekend sale… CoH is made by THQ, not a part of Sega so its down as a seperate sale.

Don't forget the first game - Hogan's heroes.

I know nothing of this game, nothing

  • Note that the second expansion is the weakest (in my opinion) so you are getting great value with the base game for $2 or base game and first expansion for $4. You can still play multiplayer with people who have the second expansion.

  • Grendier spam + terror + shrek = win :p

  • Do I need all three? Is Tales of Valor worth extra?

  • Just wondering, isn't the original COH now free to play online?

    • As I understand that is a difference version.

    • I'm pretty sure that was shutdown recently.

  • If I have the retail version of this game, and buy the steam version for a mate. Could we still play?

    • you should be able to enter your retail key in steam and it will appear in your steam account. If you do not want to use steam it would still work, I am assuming dedicated servers are used to you would join the same server.

  • Hmmm, don't see gold edition… is it gone?

  • Thanks for the replies fellas.

@b1ackmai1er, Gold edition is still there. It's what I bought, just had to run a search for it.
