  The switch doesn't have analog triggers so you have to use the thumbsticks to vary the throttle. This review discusses the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jh10IbVQOE

  Be aware that Trials Rising still has performance issues on the switch and the lack of analog triggers makes precisely controlling how much you're accelerating impossible which is necessary for more difficult tracks.

    You can change the control scheme as the above poster mentioned to use a stick for throttle. I found it easy enough to adapt to that personally.

      Can also use a GameCube controller if you have one and an adapter.
