  • This seems to be the normal price?

  • +7

This is not a deal. They have been this price in Kmart for at least the last 3 years!

    • -6

Yes but it's in stock, which qualifies it as a bargain due to the current trying times.

      • +2

        Nonsense.

What is this the 50s? Who is hoarding stove top kettles?

        • +2

People use them to boil water that has been affected by 5G so they don't catch the Wuhan Coronavirus.

Whats the normal price for these?

I have one of these, it's very shit.

Rusty and (profanity) quickly, handle gets very hot.

      Actual lol at this review

He’s right. Had mine for 3 weeks and it’s badly discoloured.

Soooo… cheap rubbish at the normal price? I guess I should just be grateful this isn't yet another cleaning product.

This is the normal price… Nor does it go out of stock.. What excuse do we use now? :o

  • Any advantage of a stove top kettle vs electric kettle? Is it down to just preference?

    • +4

Gas is cheaper than electricity but if you're using this on an induction surface (or even, heaven forbid, old-fashioned electric stove) then it will be less efficient than a normal kettle.

        Agree

  • Hey I have a wood stove and I need a kettle. We don't have a Kmart and I have to order it online. Any suggestions?

    • Pay more and get a better one.

I've had mine and used many times a day for 3 years and still going strong. Used on an induction cooktop. My brother also has one on a similar stove and it's still fine. Give it a buff-up now and then and looks nearly like new. The proof is in the pudding however I only heat water in it but who's calling the pot black…. Best money I've ever spent on a kettle.
