it's small containers so cost premium, 500ml sanitizers seem to be about $10 bottle so $20 per L but who carries 500ml bottles in handbag ….detol ones are $3-4,

the sanitizer fad will die once people get out and about again as lock downs are eased, and many businesses won't pay crazy sanitizer prices and have them on a table for customers …. can't imagine saniztier for train or bus travelers supplied by transport companies for commuters as they get on or off trains or buses ….
I saw small handbag size bottles at woolies today $4 so this is a pretty decent price.

$28.95 for 800ml is expensive. I kept my portable 48ml Palmolive bottles and top it up from a large bottle to save on plastics and money.

No, it's $2.89/bottle bloody expensive.
If anyone is still interested, Chemist Warehouse Moorabbin had some Aquim Ultra 375ml $8 in stock but it was click and collect only. I understand that the 1 litre bottle represents the best value but I could not find any in stock at the moment.
Chemist Warehouse Cheltenham had a couple of bottles of Dettol 50ml $2.99 in stock (Not sure about limitations though).
