  • Looking for some review on this but not much luck. The only thing I found is comments from previous deal on OzBargain.

Any one got experience on this?

    • Purchased this ball in size 6 for our kid. It works well indoor and outdoor for him. I would recommend it at this price

    • I find the grooves too deep to be honest.

Dribbling the ball I can feel it moving ever so slightly off it's vertical plane as the ball bounces off the edge of the groove. I don't get that same experience with a Spaulding ball.

My suggestion would be to try the feel locally before buying.

Have a google of different images of the ball itself. You can actually see how deep the channels are on some closer shots.

I know its tempting at $40 delivered (cheap!), but if you never use it because it 'doesn't bounce straight', then what's the point.

  • I've got this ball in size 7 and the weight is a bit lighter than their indoor balls. The feel and bounce is great for an outdoor ball and the synthetic leather has outlasted the gn series balls.

    • How about "protection" against dust …. one thing with playing outdoor is that most balls collects a lot of dust and loses its grip (esp traditional indoor balls where they are more "sticky") and most indoor/outdoor ball still have similar problems so i'm wondering how this one fare in that category.

      • it does lose its grip as will all balls outdoors once the lacquer coating starts to wear off. i find the molten balls maintain grip over spalding and wilson balls. ive also got a spalding gold series ball and it got slippery after 3 weeks of daily training with my 2 boys and that is a similarly prices ball. $40 is definately worthwhile

  • I'm still waiting for mine, it's never gonna arrive…

  • What differentiates an indoor basketball from an outdoor/hybdrid? Currently in the market for a new ball.

    • An indoor ball offers a soft, grippy surface. An outdoor ball is much more durable
