    not at Northern suburbs

  • Are all of these smart plugs cloud connected or can be controlled without internet as well?

These are cloud but based off of Tuya, so you can flash it and make it local. To control it after though, you'll need a hub.

  • do these block off the neighbouring plug?

  • Got the last one last week for $7.50 at my local Coles

  • I got 2 globes at Coles eastgardens for $5 each, for the life over me I ca not work out how to connect it to my phone using their app.

    • Are you seeing them to pairing mode? On/of 5 tunes so it blinks rapidly? The confusing thing is there's 2 types of blinks, one fast about 3 times a second and the other one is about 1/second for about 4-5 blinks. The fast one is pairing mode idk what the second is for

      • It blinked/flashed but didn’t pair and now I can’t get it to do it again to pair it

        2 pairing modes :

1st pairing mode - fast blinking - pairing it with your own home wifi - wifi > phone > Bulb > wifi

2nd pairing mode - Slow blinking - pairing the phone with your bulb (called Access Point mode (AP mode) - bulb creates its own wifi - phone connects to that wifi - bulb and phone pair - phone connects to normal home wifi - home wifi settings transferred to bulb - so bulb also is connected to home wifi now ..

the 2nd one is the easiest to connect to since it will take a lot of time to connect in the first pairing more.

also please keep in mind - these electrical devices will only connect to the 2.4GHZ frequency - for people who have wifi routers operating both at 2.4 and 5 ghz (2.4 ghz is default setting for all the wifi routers so dont worry if u dont know)

  • Got these from Costco a few weeks ago, they are great.
I can put two side by side on the wall plug.

FYI Aldi had 3 outlet wifi powerboards with 3 x USB for $14.99 (normally in the glass case in the front of the store).
You can control each socket or all of them with Alexa/Google
They are tuya also. I use the smart life app and skill for my echo, not the bauhn one. Same as I have for the Genio wifi bulbs.

  • still at full price at Karawara. Damn!

  • There were about 4 or 5 at Coles in Belmont a couple of days ago at this price. Not sure if they're still there.

  • Found a few in Robina but not on sale now
