The 1600AF is $165 - that's pretty good.
Are prices actually coming down or is this some desperate sale by a few stores to stay alive?
don't think PC stores are struggling due to high demand. Remember the 1600AF came out in Australia priced at $149. Our dollar is rising currently.
AMD prices will drop further due to intel 10 series desktop pricing being announced (slightly more competitive then expected)

AUD has been trending upwards since low at start of April. I would expect it will continue to strengthen from here.
We are also getting closer to the 4xxx series which could bring more competitive options or make the 3xxx series cheaper.
Amazon is cheaper $296.71 and it's the same price at MSY.
Shopping Express has just dropped their price to $279+ delivery for a 2 day (or until stock runs out) promotion.
