I think the main thing to note is that the subscription, once started, will automatically re-subscribe. Given that the magazine is bi-monthly (and assuming that you don't want to continue it) you should set a reminder to yourself to cancel after the 3rd mag has been received.

    Anyone know how easy it is to cancel after the 3 issues?

      From the terms and conditions:

      "You may cancel any time after six months by giving one month’s notice.
      …Notice to us should be sent to Reply Paid 5252, Sydney, NSW, 2011 and will be processed by us within 10 business days from receipt. A termination of the drawing arrangements or a stop payment of a drawing will be treated as a subscription cancellation request. "

      So you can write to them or cancel the direct debit authorisation. I will just write to them.

    Fairly misleading deal if in the fine print you have to pay the regular price for another 3 months afterwards.

      In the fine print it says:

      1. Every person who newly subscribes to Mens Style magazine during the promotional period will receive a direct debit subscription via a bank account First 3 issues for $6 and then an automatic payment of $22.95 each quarter ( three issues) thereafter.
      2. Your subscription will continue unless otherwise advised by you. You may cancel any time after six months by giving one month’s notice.

      As it's a bi-monthly magazine, you just need to cancel after receiving the 3rd magazine and before the 5th month arrives, so that the cancellation is effective on the 6th month. Guess I'll find out in 5 months time.
