If you plan to use the deskpad or wall frame, it would be cheaper to buy from either Apollo Hifi or direct from KEF as they have promotion at the moment - you can choose either one of those as freebie with the purchase.

PS. Unless you really really want the overpriced KEF branded desk pads or wall mounts. You can buy foam monitor pads on ebay which will do the same thing in terms of isolation as desk pads for about $15. Same with speaker wall mounts, normally about $50. So you would still be saving around $200 after that official promo price.
Tbh the wall mounts are really nice, saw them in person and cried at the price but heck when you spending this much already… you don't wanna cheap out (yet to see wall mounts which look as good as these). I was going to buy the mounts anyway, trying to convince the wife that one of the lounges can be made into a media room and the other can just be the other tv lounge :D
Friday i was all set to order the black ones off the kef direct site with the free wall mounts but they are off promo there.. i forgot all about apollo hifi until this evening so ended up getting the set from them as the promo was still on so $1596 with the wall mounts for the black ones is by far the cheapest i've seen! Yep I agree, the wall bracket is very tidy and not bulky like most wall brackets.
I wanted to do wall mount but it would involve drilling wall at the back of speakers to install hidden cable management system (ie something like from Bunnings one) to hide the cables etc and got too lazy and decided to use desk stand instead.
But if you managed to get the brackets as bonus then it's a good bargain considering the brackets are like $380 cheapest

Appliancesonline are doing a good job then at getting a fair price for australians. They are £999 in the UK, which is $1912.
That article was from 2017, and while i don't disagree they were probably price gouging looking at the differences, there is a glaring issue with their facts. They are comparing the AU pricing on websites of the 'LS50W' (Wireless powered speakers) with the Canadian price of the 'LS50' (Non powered passive speakers) worth about half the price of the powered version. They look the same but obviously aren't. They clearly need glasses!
You're right, but I recall an article talking about NZL pricing and it was smashing ours.

Seems that Amazon AU is sourcing from USA, forcing price parity onto Advance Audio.
LS50W and LSX are reasonable priced in Australia, especially now with our exchange rate.

I picked up a pair of KEF Q100s from the Addicted to Audio deal. Use them as computer speakers, they're incredible.
