If it's not an umbrella if it's not from Burberry

Bought one. Don't need it now - but might need one in the future.

    Thanks OP.

  • It looks flimsy…

    • +1

Not flimsy at all. It is very strong even on strong winds. I had it posted with a sandbag pulling the inner metal poles and it’s really well made.

not at all JV. I used an array of these umbrellas during Cyclone Debbie to defend my beach caravan. It held together very well in +300km per hour gusts.

1.7m is a very small beach umbrella.

A 2m umbrella has an almost 50% larger canopy and thus shade than a 1.7m umbrella.

Much better off getting something like this from bunnings…..

    • *38.41% larger

I contend that this is not "almost 50%".

      What say you?

      • Lol…..ive taken your contention onboard, and propose it's still close enough to 'almost 50%" given it was a guesstimate.

However, I will also accept that "more than a third larger" may have been a more accurate descriptor.

The point being I've had bigger umbrellas in cocktails.

    Missed out. What a beach.

  • Purchase was cancelled, and my purchase was processed only 24mins after the deal was posted. Any one else order earlier and get theirs cancelled?

  • Yep my order got cancelled too - some crap about stock levels!

    • Same here what a shame

  • Ditto.
