Wow I remember downloading some of these as java games on my old Sony Ericsson.

    • hahaha yes…W810 and W980 represent! I still have them and they still work!

      • I had a Nokia 6288 before moving to smart phones and loved the Gameloft games I had.

Though my girlfriend at the time had a Sony Ericcson phone which had a Cybershot camera built in . I remember being so impressed at the quality of the pictures in all its 3.2MP glory.

        EDIT: Found it. K810

        • My wife had a C902 which had 5MP and it was the shiznitz at the time. Sony Ericsson actually made decent phones. I loved their Walkman range though. Some great earphones came with them. Just a damn shame about their stupid proprietary plugs.

Finally a legal way to play High School Hook Ups

      Settle down now

    • this made my day

  • +1

    Gangstar…ahhh the good old days!

  • +3

Nice. I would love a proper port of Doom RPG one day, instead of messing about with J2ME Loader.

    • The Prince of Persia & God of War games were my favorites alongside Doom RPG. Nokia 6280 was my weapon of choice.

  • +13

I'm not familiar with any of these, can anyone recommend some highlights?

  • +5

    are all these really iconic?

    • +4

      They're far from a Baldur's Gate

  • +14

Am I the only one who feels no nostalgia whatsoever for any mobile phone games from the pre-iOS/Android years?

    • +3

      I think so.

    • +3

You never played Snake II? Or am I just showing my age now

      • Snake we know, the rest of them I'd have to agree with AngusD that never played them.
Maybe my Ericsson was too crap or I didn't want to send premium text to buy games or ringtones.

      • +1

I played Snake on the ancient Nokia phones. I'd hardly say I'm nostalgic for it, though.

About the only games I ever played and enjoyed from those days were the old LucasArts adventures that I was able to play on my Nokia N95 using ScummVM. Ironically enough, the reason I chose to do that was nostalgia :P

        • +6

The Nokia N95 was the best phone ever made for its time.. Period. lol

          • +1

@bchliu: You sir, have my vote.

          • @bchliu: I reckon it's the Nokia N8

            • +4

@mixgrill: Lol.. I've owned both. The N8 was a brilliant device on its own merit (I dropped 3 metres from my hand walking off a train down onto the train track gravel.. rained for 4 hours on it before I got it back and it was still working).

However, the N95 for the win because everyone's favourite "benchmark smartphone" (iPhone) came out after the N95 and it literally took Apple 3 revisions (3GS) before it matched the N95 in capabilities (Video calling, 3.5G (HSDPA), MMS, GPS, 5 Mpix Camera etc). The only thing the two revisions of iPhone had over the N95 was the Capacitance touchscreen but was nowhere near as capable for everything else.

              Nokia's crowning glory days..

              • +1

                @bchliu: Good times aye?

I missed my N95. Back then, there wasn't a need to buy a screen protector and a phone cover.

                Good times… :)

          • @bchliu: IMO the last great Nokia phone.

    • +2

A few of those games were on ios. I remember playing nova and modern combat 2 all the time back in the day.

      • Played n.o.v.a or maybe part 2 on my HP touchpad, if only that wasn't dumped by HP…

    • What about Bounce? That there is a classic of the early colour screen age.

  • +2

    What's the usual price?

    • +6

Thought you'd be happy it's free.

    • +1

It's always been free. These aren't all the full games

  • +6

Wow.. they found a J2ME emulator and whacked their old Nokia JAR files into it and resold everything. Lol

BTW.. you can do this yourself if you have the JAR files (Will not work for Symbian SIS files).. or any non Gameloft ones using this app:

  • Any game recommended for android tv with gamepad supported?

  • Got this for my android phone but it be great if also available for ios.

  • +1

What a relief all in one pack, I was not looking forward to buying/installing one at a time.

    Thanks op

    Would recommend playing these:
    · Block Breaker Deluxe 2
    · Block Breaker 3 Unlimited
    · NOVA: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
    · Hero of Sparta

  • Been loving the Texas Hold'em on here. Super worth downloading if you love old-school pixelated games.
