To access it, open the warzone lobby and scroll down and you'll notice a new multiplayer playlist which will contain a selection of modes.
there's only a few maps for free weekend rotation so maybe its lower

True, it's a massive game and they make you download pretty much everything.
Should also note however if you already play/have Warzone then you've already got everything you need installed, and won't need to download an additional 170gb.
Yeah I installed Warzone a week back and I was able to play multiplayer without downloading anything else.

If you want to play the game, then yes.
Only if you purchase MW. if you just want to play the free weekend then just warzone which is 90gb ish
Don't know if this is the place to discuss this, but has anyone had major server lag of late? My internet speeds have been holding up fine, but Multiplayer servers always seem to struggle for me.
Yeah blizzard servers seem kinda crap around here. I get super high ping spikes + packet loss.
Yep, PC servers aren't great by the looks of it since my friends on Xbox say it only happens when they play with me.
It's all the same servers as it's multi-platform though. Surely it isn't just blizzard?

Was having a bit of lag on Friday night, but no issues earlier in the week.
Yes. Under Options, you can turn on Telemetry to see latency, fps, CPU/GPU frame times. On a good game is around 40-50 for me. I've been having games as bad as 500.

Multi been OK sometimes laggy but man the warzone mode is effed up. A few times in the last few circles I could barely move
For me it varies and I'm on Optus '5G'. Ping tests ill get like 160-250/40-50 with 30ping. On warzone, however, I'll get ping of 40 - 300…..

First game I got into, a guy already had juggernaut and was shooting everybody through walls. I stopped playing.
What game mode? I started playing a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen a single juggernaut.
Probably drop zone which gives you care packages for defending a drop zone point.
Fun objective game mode if you like to muck around with killstreaks but the enemy team can also punish you with it so.
Yeah probably drop zone as it is super rare for anyone to get juggernaut in other game modes.
Absolute chaos near the end of the game, so much fun.
@Mr BoMBAStiG: Yet to finish a game with the max score.. highest so far was in the 500s then the game ended due to timer running out.
Amazing but chaotic game.
It's only a couple of small maps available, but good to level up guns to use in warezoje etc
Great game, I'm bloody addicted to multi and warzone. Been playing since it came out last year, paid $100 , v good value for the freaking squillion hours I've put in! Yeah some huge DLs and updates, data/space required and only very occasionally get some lag not a huge issue on Xbox, 45mbps NBN
It just a reboot of the original COD 4 Modern Warfare gameplay with new graphics. No flying or double jump or whatever the newer games has. I jumped on if last night and got good kill/death ratio. Where as with newer COD games I suck at it there are too many people flying and doing crazy shit. I might pick up this game secondhand now.

I just hope it becomes a gold standard for other games because it is hard now to really go back to other games I find.
Even Apex Legends I find is a bit tricky at times to tolerate the difference in sharpness of graphics quality.
COD is just beautiful to look at my only gripe is maybe a little bit of environmental destruction like in battlefield both in large scale buildings and small details like maybe shooting holes through wooden doors and walls.
Also the wallbang formula and algorithms could do with a bit of tweaking as it is really a big guess at this point as to what walls can be wall banged through and not but man what they have done with everything else from ragdoll physics to projectile trajectories is amazing high praise for the COD Modern Warfare 2019 team they all deserve it.
cod guns are for noobs
Quality game though not worth 70 bucks
