      Well there you go! I somehow missed that line when I added my own comment.
      Now I'm on the lookout for a battery deal. I should just call a Blackwoods tomorrow and see if they have any batteries in a box out back.

    5Ah battery isn't the recommended one for it. We use the 2 or 2.5 Ah for ours.

        2.5Ah I get about 40 minutes. Feels like ample. I will bust it out tomorrow and run it straight flat, see what it does!

            @rakeem: Eh, maybe. I feel that out mower gets 40ish minutes from the 5Ah, but maybe I just don't like brush-cutting!

  Good tool! I bought one in early Spring and it is great. There was a redemption deal to get a bonus battery back then and I bought the kit. FWIW we are bought-into the Ego ecosystem, with a mower, chainsaw and POS line trimmer…

    Really? I would think this thing is too long. Its a very specific person that would find this useful, definitely commercial users

    Their line trimmers are the right length. This brushcutter is not… Unless you're 9 foot tall

      Can confirm, am 9 foot tall… It is pretty unwieldy, but it rips.

  Bought this.
  Now it's arrived, but I've just managed to fix my older one, so I don't need this anymore!

  It's now sold out online, so if anyone is after an awesome Brushcutter that can also convert into a Line Trimmer, let me know.
  I'm in Melbourne, and would sell for the $159 price I got it for. Still in its box.
