Incredible game. So much in it, definitely worth it.
Played this a while back, the DLC is amazing and better than many other full games but for some reasons I never finished blood an wine. Have just gone back to finish it and its still such an impressive game.
Only thing making it a bit strange is that I have since watched the TV show and nearly finished reading the books and its impacting my experience having the multiple different interpretation of the character in my head.

Big warning this game takes alot of focus. Not casual player friendly in my opinion. Lots to take in with lots of concentration. I'm about 30hours in which took me a long time to get the hang of things. Was about to stop playing a few times before the 8 hour mark.

I'm a big fan of Mass effect/skyrim type of games so I thought when I bought this ages ago I would come to like it. Spent three hours on it and It was just so much effort to play. Is it worthwhile to push through?

The game has issues, but you'll have memories that will last a life time if you ask me.
Scenes from the witcher are in my mind along with the first time I absorbed a mushroom in super Mario brothers
If referring to Roach randomly appearing on rooftops, it's not a bug, but a feature.
I was playing with pc (keyboard and mouse)what really helped was change things to was changing to alternate style control. I don't know which one but I switch to the other game play style in options and it changed it. Previously it was a pain to fight and fight very odd. Don't know if you tried this or not!
If you can get into skyrim you can definitely get into this, but personally it ain't as good as ME2
I agree - I've clocked 200 hours on this game (including all the expansions) and I'm still going. I guess it depends on whether you do all the side quests as well as all the points of interest on the map. Out of curiosity - did everyone do ALL the points of interest on each map? or am I the only dumb ass doing them?!

Those long boat rides around skell, made me wish geralt has had a sign for an ipod
