These are pretty much single use.
    Crazy for $5 a pop

    • +13

Single use if you use it for something which it is not marketed for.

If you did use it for sanding or any other DIY work you could actually use them many times before needing to throw them out.

@voteyes: Actually dog not destroy,he just play with my mask and it dirty so i cant used again lol,

It depends on how you use it. Due to the shortage of P2/N95 masks, lots of hospitals around the world are doing so. Various methods have been developed and tested to sterilize and restore the mask until they physically fall apart, such as steaming and baking.

What if that single use stops your from catching and dying from Covid-19? Not a bad deal then.

  • Lol to the flippers…

so you're saying there is a chance it may? Can't believe immorality costs less than 5 bucks.

The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

      • Is it immoral to be immortal?

      • Immorality doesn't cost anything… Just your morals

  • Plenty at bunnings too, funny they sell them more expensive, considering they're both under westfarmers

    • +4

Funnier they do that so you can price beat at Bunnings to get further 10% off.

      • +2

If you can find one at Bunnings…

      • -1

True, though in the end Wes still makes money at both shops. Just more in one, less in the other

    • +6

Wesfarmers is essentially just a holding company. All wesfarmers brands pretty much operate independently from each other, certain brands even see each other as competitor… Bunnings - Blackwoods, Kmart- Target. It's very interesting.

Source: I used to work for Wes.

  • ideal for protecting yourself from…. soiling

Better than nappies? (Adult or baby)

It’s very hard to breathe in these, couldn’t do more than 10 Mins

  • +1

Note not fluid resistant compared to other certain P2/N95 masks.
Edit: so once they're wet - they're not effective.

  • Given that 3M is shifting towards domestic production (US market), it maybe difficult to source Masks from 3M. At this stage, it is not a bad idea to get some Masks while you can. At $5 a pop it is expensive, but in the grand scheme of things better to safe than sorry.

  • For painting of course. People wouldn’t be buying them for any other reason now would they..

“They have a minimalist white design.”

    Love your work.

"The N95 mask filters 95 per cent of airborne particles. It costs about 70 cents to produce. Tascone says customers should not be paying more than $2 for them."
