    Can we have bit more?

    • +7

Sure mate they’re sitting at Cashrewards thinking of how to get it to 110% so they pay you for buying items!

      • +4

Hey at least he tried for the public, it never hurt to ask. :)

      Thanks Oliver

Thanks BA, this is step in right direction hopefully 🤞

"Cashback is ineligible if you add items to your eBay watchlist and purchase or bid more than 24 hours later."

    That's a new, tricky exclusion.

    • +2

Always been there, unwatch them for 24hrs or use Mrs account

    • +2

strange caveat. so if you buy on impulse, you're safe.

      • +1

I suspect it's more of a technical problem of tracking the attribution back to the cashback referrer - how can they attribute the sale to the referrer if the wishlist was the source of the sale

    • A couple of times, I've had some items on my watchlist that I unwatched just before clicking through, and then searched the item and made the purchase, and the cashback tracked. That was with shopback though, not sure if it'd be the same with cashrewards.

      • +1

Had same experience with cash rewards no issue
The conditions are from eBay imo

    • That's a new, tricky exclusion.

Always been there, it's eBays policy not CR.

      • +1

Not an eBay policy but a CR safeguard to ensure users don't miss out on their cashback. eBay does not track "add to watch list" so this basically means is you cant click out from CR today add something to watch list and buy it after 24 hours and expect it to track. If you have clicked out from CR and added something to your watch list you don't need to remove it from your watch list, you just need to click out from CR before actually buying if 24 hours has passed since adding to watch list OR you have clicked on another link which would override CR last click.
Cashback tracks to a last click before checkout within 24 hours - best bet is always to click out again before you checkout on eBay.

        Hopefully this clarifies things

    Desktop only. Great.

This is a deal killer for me, I wouldn't order many things from eBay without a discount code.

    • Well there are thousands of private seller you won't get a code
Gone are the days when we had site wide sales

      • Officeworks & Bunnings never have codes
Can get a deal there 😉

Thanks for the post BA, don't want to sound unappreciative, but surely I'm not the only person who does his whole life on his phone?

    • Ironic how these comments are always the opposite of what they try not to be.. :)
It's like someone who says, "No offense meant but.." and you know their next statement is gonna be offensive AF.

  • Literally just bought something this morning, oh well, the old 3% wasn't too bad (it has already been shipped out, and it's Computer Alliance whom I like).

    • +1

It's up to 5%, so if it's from Computer Alliance it is probably classified as "Computers & Tablets 1.50 %"

  • Not much but certainly a welcome surprise, with Amazon pulling out of cashback and flybuys leaving eBay I was kind of expecting the worst.

  • Can I use my voucher that I received after join ebay plus ?

  • Stupid question but will this cashback work with the other ebay 15% off selected sellers? As the 15% discount is not a code.

    • You talking about this? Cos that's a code. They always are.

      • Damn you're right. Stupid question confirmed.

        • Lolz it's late mate.

  • I'm glad that purchases made with gift cards are still eligible.

  • Does anyone know if Power Tools falls under one of these categories?
