  • Its Free Delivery with S&S.

  • Seems expensive. Just buy the Kirkland pods from Costco.

  • $6.25 is the same price at woolies

I genuinely don't understand laundry liquid pods/capsules. Please educate me.
You measure the liquid into the cap and it's designed so it doesn't leak everywhere. Surely it's not that complicated? I can't help but feel the pitch for pods/capsules has people slipping on the floor and pouring it into their eyes like some trashy exaggerated infomercial.

    $8.75 for 1.8L 36 washes

    • Their pitch is all the stuff that goes in with it, same as a dishwashing tablet. This looks like it claims to have all the stuff you could want to put in there - the detergent, softener etc. Never under estimate people taking the easy option.

    • I use powder but I dont get it either…

    • FYI those trashy exaggerated informercials? Most of them are selling products intended for disabled people. Ironically it's acceptable to use able-bodied people acting like idiots in their demonstrations rather than their actual intended customers.

People pay more for them after being told by marketing that it's better for them.

    • As someone who's only recently moved out of home and started actually looking at different brands of detergent/capsules, can I use Cold Power Capsules in a warm wash?

      • +1

        Yes, you can.

Totally legit question, dont worry. I think Cold Powers selling point is that they claim their stuff works in cold water, just as well as in warm water.
To be honest, I am pretty sure all/most detergents work in cold washes nowadays.

        • Awesome! Thanks guys! :)

  • These are a massive waste of money compared to powder/liquid

Be aware these also don’t smell like the regular Dynamo. I hate the smell of Omo with a level of passion incomprehensible to most people, and bought these because Dynamo Professional liquid wasn’t on sale anywhere that week. After the first wash I realised they smelled exactly like Omo so they went straight in the bin and $17 later for proper Dynamo life went back to normal.

This or a tub of Peters Original Neapolitan for $4.75?
