Can I Transfer Money from Foreign Trading Account to PayPal USD Balance without Fees?

Hi everyone,
I imagine a number of people who use OzBargain have come across this problem but I am having difficulty finding an answer online.
My basic question is:
Can I transfer money from Foreign Trading Account to Paypal USD balance with minimal fees and conversions?

I have recently been doing some business in the US so have been paid into a Australia Foreign Exchange bank account in USD.
I need to pay for something in the US and they accept Paypal. If I link a Foreign Exchange Account to Paypal can I transfer USD to my Paypal USD balance directly or because it's an Australian account does it get currency converted and go into my AUD PayPal balance? Does anyone have experience what their process is?

  Why not ask PayPal via an online chat? Keep a copy of the chat "just in case".

  Edited: They appear to have minimal customer service staff still working at present.

    Thankyou for the advice, yeh I saw that on the paypal site, I have contacted them waiting to hear back.

    I like online chat versus phone just for that reason. :)

  Pretty sure your USD account with an australia bank wont have a routing number that you can use to link to PayPal.

  Easiest option would be to get a TransferWise or AirWallex account, that should come with a routing number you can use to link to PayPal. Transferwise and AirWallex offer virutal visa cards too, that you can use to link to PayPal.

    Thanks for the suggestions, the virtual visa card sounds like it would do the trick
