  • Good day today for buying toilet paper!

    • +3

Just saved my wife a stressful, and probably fruitless trip.

      • +8

        happy wife, happy ass!
        ups i mean life

  • I am no mathematician but the other deal is better: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/532394

  • +16

    the wavey texture disintegrates

    • +9

Yep, can't stand it, all powdery and gross. Much prefer Quilton or Aldi 3 ply.

      • +2

Absolutely can’t agree it more! Bought a big pack once and regretted it!! Never ever Kleenex again!

      • hmm I might give the Aldi one a go then. I like Quilton way better than this Kleenix powdery stuff. I've seen the double length rolls it in stock at Aldi but they don't list the price anymore.

        • +1

I bought a pack of 8 just the other day of double length. From memory it was about $7.50.

    • +3

      A causes a finger in the…

    • +3

Yeah, I don't get why anyone buys this. I just assumed I have a poor wiping technique, but I see so many comments like this…

  • +2

Normally paid $19 for it in my previous orders… so price is decent.

  • +1

Costco usually has 48 equivalent for around $23 or so. So looks like back to normal more or less.

  • +1

So, is this officially the end of panic buying era?

    • +2

For now yes. Until further notice lol

At my local supermarkets TP shelves were full yesterday and it wasn't even early in the morning. It was around 4pm
Same with meats. They were even on sales due to slow sales.

      Pastas are coming back slower

    • +2

Never let your guard down - if it's a good deal, panic buy!

    • Depends where u live.

Tp is in stock but not the brands you might want and at the right price.

  • +12

This TP leaves a powdery mess in my bum hair - not quite sure how to say that in a more palatable way.

    • +2

I've experienced the same, plus paper dust all through the toilet. It's gross.

    • +3

      Mabey it reacts with semen

      • +6

        Mabey!

        • +4

          Mabey it's Maybelline!

    • +3

That's bits of puppy they use to manufacture.

    • +3

      How do you know?

    • That your crack looks like crack?

    • not quite sure how to say that in a more palatable way

I think this commenter managed to.

  • +1

Shelve full of TP in my local Woolies. Its probably overstocked now, wouldn't be surprised if price drops further in the next week or so.

  • +1

Quilton 36 rolls is $14 if anyone prefers that brand

  • +1

Our toilet paper slowly back in stock normally, but thanks.

  • +3

Good deal for bog rolls but this is easily the worst of the name brand toilet papers. Literally disintegrates in your hand as you wipe.

  • +1

Is it the one that gets you to connect with your inner self?

  • +4

They really should make a Mortal Kombat Edition.

    Kleenex Komplete Klean

  • +3

TP is in abundance everywhere now

    • +1

yep my locals have been stocked the past week. No shortages anymore.

      • With good value packs, or inflated prices?

I am under self quarantine so I haven't been in a shop for a couple of months.

From what I can see on the Woolworths and Coles online, only the expensive packets are available, if at all.

        • I wrote that comment last month and now I can tell you my locals are pretty full shelved with everything now. I buy the quilton $10 pack and I'm seeing them everywhere and yes still $10.

  • Out of stock :(

    Added to Wish List

    • how does wish list work?

      • I was being a bit silly wishing I had toilet paper, but if you use 'Add to Wish List' Amazon will give you the 'email me' option when it's back in stock.

Wishing you well in your search for TP comfort.

        • lol thanks

      • He wishes he could wipe his ass

  • Out of stock at all my local stores and missed out on this deal :(

    • Don’t worry grab one of these will get you through until stock come back in

      • Lol

  • plenty of stock at woolworths. I think now most of the supermarket is overstock with toilet papers.

  • Yep no stock problems at all with TP in shops now. Shelves were full the other day in Woolies.

  • +1

Huh, that's weird I have a stock availability alert setup for this exact item and I never got the email and have such missed out.

  • Gotta get me some of that sweet TP!

  • I saw tp stocked at Coles yesterday. Ddidn't look like there was a massive demand for them since this was in the afternoon.

    On a side note.
I think supermarkets should take TP and sanitiser returns but only return 20-25% of the initial price so the damn scalpers will lose money but there will also be more stock to others to purchase.

  • +1

I managed to get mine from the last deal and now have more than I need.

While I agree it's not particularly fantastic toilet paper, it certainly doesn't disintegrate or leave a powdery mess between my ass cheeks - what the hell are you guys doing with it? Sounds like a case of Keratosis pilaris is causing sandpaper ass checks :)

  • My local stores have plenty of stock
    At $1 per roll :(

  • Cant get TP at local Sydney supermarkets, coles woolies or Aldi, still cant buy this deal cos its outa stock. I got notifications flagged on these out of stock items from Amazon, but they never send you the notification when they are actually in stock…so dumb and still no TP.

    • +1

It's back in stock in case you didn't know.

  • +1

The Woolies and Coles I went in to had plenty of TP and no one was buying it. Quilton double length 8 pack for $8.50 and 9 pack for 9.50 at Coles and Woolies

  • My local Coles and woolies have all the TP back in stock
Not really in a hurry to grab them unless running out

  • I don't how people are still selling out these deals. Why are you all stockpiling TP still? Surely a few hundred rolls is enough?

  • It's funny how these "deals" often show no details about how many sheets per roll, this one is a great example. Rolls vary with elcheapos being 180 sheets & the better being 540 sheers (three times more). It is why I always buy Quilton 540 sheer two ply! Not cheap but in comparison cheaper than many (when it is available)

  • +1

    Back in stock

  • Still in stock as of now

  • It's baaaaack - thought they sent email notifications when it's back in stock

  • Just doesn't feel right that this is still in stock.

  • Free delivery with a free Amazon Prime trial.

  • there are hips of toilet rolls in the market….no need buy a lot…:)

  • Got my delivery one week earlier than estimated. I have now placed another order, which went through.

It looks like the 1 per transaction limit applies, not 1 per account.

Ps. I don't need that many rolls lol.

But I have to supply elderly family members in 2 residences, who have self quarantined.

It's easier said than done when you're working from home, and self isolating yourself too.

    • Just got my second order, and placed a third (I think if you try their Amazon Prime they deliver it faster).

I got the Prime membership for free, for a month, I should be able to get enough toilet paper to last me, and my family (3 homes) to last a while.
