    This is still a thing?

    • +31

I haven't seen TP in a store in WEEKS where I am.

      • +6

My local Coles, Sunday @ 3pm, had TP in the aisles, and 2 pallet displays in-store!

Took a pic for posterity lol

      • +1

My local IGA overstocked on TP and now theyre having sales on them.

        • +1

Isn't IGA price higher than this though? Just curious.

          • @virhlpool: Its not the same product, but its still TP.

      • +3

Our local coles only had Kleenex in stock, no wonder it was still available, lol..

      • Fair enough!

      • this seriously surprises me because my local aldis, coles and woolies are overstocked now, and they've had stock in for 3+ weeks.. even the shops on the other side of the city near where I work have lots of stock.

I guess they're prioritizing some stores and ignoring others?

      • I saw a lot at Hornsby Woolies yesterday.

    • +25

Yes, people are still using toilets. Shocking, I know.

      • +23

They don't know about the 3 seashells?

        • Or the Xiaomi Whale Spout's.

          • @gooddealmate: not all Australian toilets can use xiaomi whale sprouts.

        • The fact that I still remember that line from a film I haven't seen in 15 years!
And yet the infinite number of highly useful life things that I've forgotten in that same time…. sigh :-(

    • +1

We haven't gone back to twigs and leaves yet

      • +2

In ancient Greece, pottery shards were used with a similar scraping motion. Sometimes these pottery fragments would be inscribed with the name of an enemy before being used.

        And pottery shards

        • +5

          Er … ouch?

    2nd wave!

Looks like the supplies are catching up. This was $16 two weeks back in this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/529498

    • +9

      More like demand is falling

      • Yeah. People need to stop household budget deficit in this uncertain time

      • People no money to eat?

        More like demand is falling

  • +14

I don't know about you guys but my local shops are almost totally back to business as usual.

    • +1

ya..is the pricing at Amazon not slightly better?

      • +1

21.6 cents per 100 sheets. That’s roughly the usual special price in supermarkets. Got these packs in Jan on the 16 cent per 100 deal from Amazon.

        • righto, but I don't think they will do a special on TP, Hand wash for another 2-3 weeks atleast..
the last good price per my Amazon order history is 15.74 for 45 rolls back in Oct'19.

          • +1

@maverick1: I got a load in that ‘19 deal - 4 packs, down to my last 8 rolls

        • I honestly wish people would use this unit of measure more often…

    • +1

I don't know about you guys but my local shops are almost totally back to business as usual.

Except enough of half-price sale in Coles and Woolies.

    • +5

haven't seen any in Adelaide yet

      • +1

That's coz all ours is/was being sent over the border. Apparently we dont need it!!
Having said that, I went to Drakes this morning and they actually had stock!! Go figure…

      • I had to fork out 7.50 for 10 rolls of Sorbent in ADL this morning

        • could have been worse, could have been kleenex…

          • +1

@harro112: Yeah I wouldn't buy that, the finger goes through when you wipe

    • Yep, all the idiots are loaded up… enough.

  • here we go again!

  • I give it 5 minutes

    • +1

      12 mins and still going

    • +1

      Bad theory

  • $14 great price

  • Thanks, got an order in

  • +1

TP is abundant in most places now

  • +1

    Do they accept refunds?

    • +20

I don't understand the negative vote I'm just trying to return 150 32 packs of TP here

    • Is the middle finger emoji allowed here?

  • +27

who cares about TP now? ITS ALL ABOUT NINTENDO SWITCHES

    • +1

      And ps4 pros!

    • +2

      And Animal Crossing.

  • +3

Kleenex available 45 rolls for $20 if anyone misses this

    • Thanks, ordered one of those too!

    • +7

May as well just use your hands instead of Kleenex.

      • Kleenex tear/pierce factor stinks

    • Thanks bro. Got one

  • great pricing, my place coles and woolies has their stock back again

  • M u s t r e s i s t to order .. I will need some early next month but i am seeing situation improving and my local Colworths are now starting to turn out better stock wise (the shelves had stock during my last trip to Colworths).
Will probably wait this out for someone who may need it more urgently.

  • Expired in 11 minutes? Tried to add to cart but couldn't.

    • Yes, oos now

    • just tried then and it worked, looks like back in stock

  • +2

I wasted a minute trying to find another item to add to cart, aaaaand they'e gone.

  • Damm email's from ozbargain take so long to arrive sold out again haven't been able to buy toilet paper since mid Feb just want 1 bloody packet

    • +1

Yup - agreed! Perhaps a limit to how many emails OzBargain can send within a certain amount of time, without being blocked…

    • Subscrib to be notified of stock within Amazon urself. Then you'll beat the ozb rush.

      • Tried to but still says in stock

  • great price but noticed our local supermarkets have always had supply the past week

  • Quilton probably already planning their XMas party by now.

    • Well deserved. They should.

  • Looks like gone.

  • Gone already. Cart empty.

  • -8

    Thanks OP. Bought 3

    • Limit is 1 per person though, how?

      • 3 amazon accounts under wife, father and mother names

        • +3

I don’t get it, wouldn’t all 3 of those separate amazon accounts need their own Amazon Prime accounts? Otherwise they’d need to pay the delivery fee?

          • +1

@emoticon: 30 days free trial I would guess

            • @Bareadygain: Ahh okay, makes sense. I guess if they really need it then going to all that effort is worth it.
