argggh just bought a official molten for $90 ….i prefer Spalding > Molten

Moltens balls in rec league are crap…too bouncy n spongy

    • +3

      omg yes :).

      • second that. Spalding is way better.

omg your timing couldnt be better!
was just about to buy a spalding indoor/outdoor for the same price… as a replacement to my old 1000 series leather ball.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH OP!!!

  • I was looking at buying one of these a few weeks ago, nice price.

  • I've got one of these, if you are combining it with a larger order and a reasonable coupon to make shipping worthwhile, these can be had for around the same price from Eastbay:

    http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:170090/sku:1747338

Good price for an Australian seller, although I do wonder if the shipping would be quicker than eastbay given they often arrive in as few as 3 days from the USA.

I ordered mine early last week and received mine today, so i guess allow a week? It's also registered post and i'd rather be dealing with an aus company

Gave it a + just because basketball is amazing. Unforunately I already have 4 balls so not needing another

grab another anyway…thats the way :)

      wow, lucky man. and woman

  • Am I doing something wrong? It says it's at $99.99 right now.. =[

Oh wait scratch that wrong site go me!

  • +1

Good to find a deals site on genuine products with genuine savings.

  • Size 7 is sold out. I don't see the point for getting size 6 (for any male at least).

I'll just add a Spalding to my next Eastbay order.

  • Size 7,
    25 bought = sold out
    LOL

  • Usually $50 from eastbay but only worth buying if you are already getting other things to save on postage.

I'm clueless about basketball, but I would like to know from you ballers out there if this ball is really worth the normal price?

    • @georgedn - For $60 this a decent price. It's roughly what Americans would pay; but given we have inflated retail prices in Australia, this costs around $100 everywhere. Most domestic/competition games use basketballs of this quality.

    • +1

If you are going to use it indoors for games, then definitely. If you are just practicing and throwing up shots, then a ball half the price is good enough.

    Size 6?

Three pt % should increase, as will my likelihood of dunking (from 0.00 to 0.0001%).

    • Might increase my 3pt from 0.00 to 0.01% haha

If anyone out of the 25 people who bought the size 7 ball want to sell it please let me know because I will buy it straight away.

    • just combine it with a larger purchase from eastbay

  • Sorry not about the sale, but does anyone know any cheep indoor courts does not require booking in Sydney?

  • good price for a local site i guess. i got mine off amazon for 54aud delivered

  • +1

kgv indoor courts dont really require booking, but its basically just pickup games with whoever is around. skill levels are a mixed bag there.

    • Thanks for the info revacious, I'm happy with pickup games, that's all I play anyway. Only play for fun & exercise now. Any time of the weekend would you suggest to go?

I remember as a kid upgrading from the rubber bballs thats eggs to the leather ones. Biggest smile ever
Then at competition if they used your ball out of all the other kids, you felt like king :)
Anyway wish there was still size 7's as i've got a nike 6 already.
