  the plat points will never expire, right? im thinking to save them to get games not just themes.

    Platinum points expire in 6 months, gold 12 months, but platinum points are easy to get and for me most just end up expiring because there's nothing worthwhile to use them on.

        Every week while logged into you Nintendo account visit Nintendo.com.au (or any other regional Nintendo site), click on the rolling coin on the front page of my.nintendo.com, log into the 3DS/Wii U eshop and anything else listed here.

    They expire in 6 months, games are almost never available with them because they are easy to get.

      i thought i saw a game (digital ofcourse and simple game not like mario) for like 500 or 800 Platinum Points on special at eshop but i could be wrong

        yes, literally one game is available and its pretty meh. Picross with a zelda skin on it.
        Club nintendo used to be a much better system I think, the unique physical rewards like games not for retail sale, figures, bags etc. were great fun.

            @CyberMurning: It's a discount on the game, not the full game. You still need to pay 66% of the RRP.
