      What a load of crap

    • +1

Relive a diji1 comment and experience mediocrity.

Asteroids Atari ranked #7 in all time gross sales
      Cabinets Sold: 100,000
      Revenue by 1991: $800,000,000
      Inflation adjusted: $1,346,548,823

How did they almost kill video gaming?

      • Atari did almost kill the industry by allowing absolute shit to be released as games on the home console and Nintendo saved the industry. However, there were some absolute classic games released onto the Atari arcade cabinets and home console.

    Nice!

(but where are Pitfall and River Raid?)

  • I've been playing Apple Panic on my browser. For such a simple game it's so addictive & hard.

  • +1

Yes some of the games are rubbish but there are also plenty of good simple games to have fun with.
I still remember playing combat at a mates place when I was a kid. Great times.

  • What no river raid?

    • +5

Most of the best Atari games including River Raid, Pitfall, Hero, and many others were published by Activision - and aren’t licensed by Atari directly

Lol wtf. I decide to pay a bit more to get the 2 game mystery bundle as well and the 2nd game that it gives me is Atari Vault which I just bought.

  • Free to good home. Enjoy.

Thank you for being so generous but in order to avoid bots getting keys, please give away keys in future via PM, please.

Awww man, I bought the Atari Vault a few weeks ago for $2.69. I feel so ripped off.

  • +1

No surprise that there aren't any Activision games in this collection, but what's disappointing to me is the lack of games that were released by Atari but licensed from other companies, which means many of the most popular (or notorious) VCS games aren't included, like:

    Space Invaders
    Pac-Man
    Ms. Pac-Man
    E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
    Defender
    Stargate (Defender II)
    Joust
    Berzerk
    Dig Dug
    Pole Position
    Moon Patrol
    Mario Bros.
    Q*Bert
    Phoenix

Also missing is Battlezone, even though that was developed by Atari.

However, there are some genuinely great arcade games in there: Asteroids, Centipede, Gravitar, Lunar Lander, Missile Command, Red Baron and Tempest. Even Major Havoc, which I'd never seen in the arcades, is surprisingly good.

    • Loved joust

  • Bought this yesterday, got a call from the bank this morning. These guys tried to use my card to make other online purchases. Cancelled card and getting a new one now. Kicking myself, lesson learned.

That is not Fanatical. I bet you have malware on your PC.
I have bought from them since they were bundle stars and not a single problem.
There is a rep/account for them on reďdit - contact them and tell them.

Fanatical are one of the best and most reputable sites I've ever used, and many many times without issue. Owned by Focus Multimedia and supported by most large publishers

As @Lysander suggests, check your PC.

  • Great price but if you want all the best games you're better off using the Stella emulator.
