Agree. Shockers - stiff sides, poor sole. Hush Puppies made a great desert boot a few years back before they deserted them.
How long have you worn them? These shoes need breaking in
My last pair of these lasted a few months until the sole started splitting. I ended up gluing it back together. Then it split again in another spot, and repeat. I was happy with the shoes but the soles are horrendously bad.
They are very flat on the bottom too, not super comfortable but OK.

Rate these boots. Have exact ones - run a bit big so I would suggest going a half size down. Took a while to wear in but love them.
