Powerbank is welcome. Thats all pros.
cons: poor sound quality, poor sync, poor cross sync, poor battery life, poor fit.

    • Are these your personal experiences? The reviews on Amazon are not stellar but they are not so reflective of yours.

      • I had a different pair of headphones (soundpeats) but they are all probably based on the same Bluetooth module and components like qcy etc .

They are terrible, poor tws sync ie frequently losing sync mid usage, affected by interference massively so would drop audio and drop connection as a whole. They are uncomfortable and hurt the top of your ear canal and to top it off the right earbud split in half after 6 months.

When they did work the sound quality wasn't half bad though. Much better off with a pair of ones that are either cans or the sports style ie attached by a wire.

The 20 dollar sports style ones I got were heaps better (brand name escapes me now)

          Which soundpeats did you have?

Im a bit of an audiophile, even having the oportunity to rent some sennheiser HE1 (yep, $50k….) From my old work (we were a boutique hifi store).

I have the true-dots and the truengine SE from soundpeats.

Ive of course tried airpods, and my affordable overear headphones of choice are the Momentum 2's (just to give you an idea of the soundstage i enjoy).

Regardless, i can't fault the soundpeats, either of them.

Taking the Truengine SE, as they're the premium ones at about $50, you DO sacrifice your bottom end, there's only so much a 6mm driver can do.
However the details in the mids and highs are glorious.

I manage about 15m through an office wall (so, its hollow, but still) before i get any cut-outs, and the QCC3020 chipset seems to have stellar connectivity and power saving.

The basic realtek chip in the trueDots is a little less stellar, but they're also about half the weight, and i still put them in line with… well any middle class headphone really.

For the quality ive had from soundpeats id honestly have expected both pairs to be at least triple the price.

During this pandemic i'm going for long walks alone each night, using them for 5+ hours daily, and while i agree they get the rare cut out for a split second, id say it's probably 3 times in 5 hours? And its because my phone got wet i think, only one phone has the issue. Sounds like a CD scratch, then continues. Not ideal, but i never expected perfection at $50.

Sad to hear you had such a bad run with them.

          What model?

Appreciate feedback from community on stuff like this.

  • Not bad for under 20 bucks.

  • can anyone that rides a motorcycle recommend a pair of these that fill well under a fullface helmet, without the excruciating ear pain ?

    • That was one of the reasons i got them - failed. Poor sound and sync, but what's worse they stick out from the ears so unusable in helmet.
Too straight, I recently ordered the angled pair from the deal couple days back.

    • It's not a TWS, but the shure 215 wireless (I think it might be an SE version, they look the same though) I have is fantastic for a helmet. They are low profile with no jagged edges, so it is easy to put on and off without gouging your ears. Plus you don't run the risk of one of the buds falling away when you take your helmet off. One of my buddies lost one of his buds that way, couldn't find it in the dark when it fell.

They also come with foam tips which are perfect for blocking out wind noise when you are on a highway.

  • The correct way to wear this Bluetooth headset is to wear it upside down. Otherwise, you cannot experience its true bass, you will feel poor sound quality and ear pain.
And the main point is, if you don't like it after you tried, you can get a free return. : )

    • Can you show a picture to wear it upside down? Which side is the upside ?

      Is bass affected by gravity?
