      Can't find the comment I made on this the other day, but WD2 is basically everything the first should have been, but better. The characters are more genuine (though some find them a tad cringy), though the storyline is debatably worse, everything about the gameplay and hacking is improved, you now have options and you're not forced into a shootout every mission; you can play everything stealthily if you like. Multiplayer is also a lot more fun, with a 2v2 gamemode where there are different objectives you and a buddy have to complete whilst competing against the other pair, such as downloading data, stealing information, or hacking servers. Or you can stealthily hack an unwilling player and enjoy watching them struggle to find you, or a bounty hunter game mode, or you can jump into a game with a buddy and just do a co-op mission together. The adding of drones opens up so many more possibilities for approaching situations, nethack is expanded, you can hack every NPC, I could go on. Aside from some finding the storyline and characters cringy, it's a solid game, both for single player and multiplayer. Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Have to agreee with Zazer. I had a fantastic time with WD2 and playted my first session from 6am-3am (ok, I finally had a week off work when I started it). By contrast I literally frisbeed the WD1 disk and case across the room into a wall after getting frustrated and POed at the gameplay. Probably shouldn't have tried to play it after enjoying WD2 so much, I guess. :D
      And yes, both accounts are literal, not exaggerated.
