    • +6

      edit: it's $299 with code!

      I was confused. It's a further $100 off.

      Good deal!

      • how good

      • +4

No one asking if TRS applies?

        • +3

i dont think you can travel anywhere in the next 60 days

          • +1

            @xcal: 60 days? You’re an optimist.

I’m putting off some purchases until things become clearer but some desperate retailers could offer some decent discounts

    • it brings the QC35 2's down to $300…

    • can you explain how to get the QC35 II from $499 to $299? When I apply the code it wont go further than $399 :'(

  • +2

if only it was another #doublecouponstackgate

  • Great price of $299.95 for the QC35 II delivered and all colour options - Black, Silver and Rose Gold

I've been holding out waiting for decent price to come along. Just a shame they no longer come with the airline adapter like they used to

My $99 AKGs laugh at you Bose

  • +1

The AKG’s were the the NC headphone deal of the year

  • This or sony wh-1000xm3?

    • +2

Don't risk it with Bose and their dodgy firmware, just get the Sony's. Better yet wait for XM4 if you can.

      • +3

Unless you value comfort above all, bose wins hands down.

        • +2

Agreed. Have both the Xm3 and the QC35 and bose wins for comfort. Sony definitely sounds better but its negligible to be honest.

          • +1

@blehbear: Sony also have vastly better ANC

          • @blehbear: Yup, I couldn't wear my XM3s for 2-3 hours without taking them off for a while because my ears became excessively sweaty compared to the Bose which I could wear for 10+ hour flights without the same problem.

      • I picked the xm3s because you can change the battery in those in teh long run where as with the Bose you can’t

        • is this correct? how do we do that?

      • whats the killer feature of XM4 over XM3?
All I know based on rumours is that it will support Bluetooth 5.0, but I dont think its such a big deal?
For what I know, BT 5.0 is better range and more power efficient hence longer battery life, but I may not know other features that will make it worth the wait for XM4 (and hefty price)?

Also, whats wrong with Bose firmware?

        • The likelihood is it'll support multi device switching more seamlessly than the current implementation which requires you to manually connect/disconnect. Wasn't a problem with me as I mainly connected it to my iPad + NFC powered DAP. If it wasn't connected to the DAP, then it'd auto connect to the iPad. But if I wanted it to connect to my iPhone, I gotta do it manually. If I had an NFC enabled Android, think it wouldn't be a problem.

    • +1

      In mho
Qc35 is the most comfy, not the best nc, sound quality depends on your ears
(Had it with 700 and xm3)
The only thing that i really dislike in it is the micro USB

I just returned the NC700 after only 7 days or so. Got them with the recent ebay plus deal for $399. 95.

I wanted to love them. Didn't happen.

The app (Android) is extremely glitchy.

The multi device connection function didn't work properly at all. When connecting to my Note 10+ and Surface Book 2 all audio from my pc was choppy.
This feature was very important for me, especially now when I'm working from home. Turned out totally useless.

The assistant button wasn't always activating the Google Assistant. I was often prompted to double check the settings. The settings were just fine.

No equalizer was a big disappointment (I should have researched this before buying, so my bad).

      The bass was weak.

The microphone quality was excellent and I loved using these headphones for all my calls. I could perfectly hear my voice (this setting has 3 levels) and apparently my callers could hear me better than through my phone (tested only indoors).

Noise cancellation was good but to be honest, I expected better. Yet I must admit I have no comparison at all since these were my first NC headphones. Or maybe my partner is just too loud when working 😉

Overall, I couldn't justify keeping them, even at $400.

I was so disappointed with the multi device connection issues. I hope they'll fix it with their next model.

      • Thanks for the insight.

For multi device connection, how does it actually work? So you connect to multiple devices over BT at the same time, then how do you switch between input devices? Is it through the headphone itself or the device via software?

Do you know what other great headphones with this feature? I think XM3 doesnt have this feature..

        • This is the thing, there's no switching between devices. No physical nor any other software button for this. Ideally, this feature should be controlled by the headphones. Max 2 devices can be connected. So eg I could be listening to the music from my PC and take calls with my phone at the same time. Like I said, in reality it's a mess and doesn't work well at all.

          • @polstralian: I think you need to RTFM …. you cycle through the connected devices by toggling the power/bluetooth button to the right - it announces the device you're connected to.

            • @howdydood: Yes indeed, it announced devices it was connected to right after turning the headphones on. So when I had both my phone and my SB2 on, the NC700 would automatically connect to both announcing both devices.

However this was always followed with audio issues mentioned above.

There are plenty of posts on the official forum with the exact same problem.

            • @howdydood: And further to your comment, toggling between devices (connecting a new one whilst disconnecting another) and keeping 2 devices working simultaneously, issue free are two separate features.

    • Sony's are better in every way except two.
      1) only able to connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. E.g. cannot connect to laptop and mobile simultaneously.
      2) call quality sucks and does not compare to Bose. E.g. do not buy if you plan on making a lot of calls or using for conference calls.

Wish the refurbs had -100 too, would end up being $200

I bought QC35 II for $300 from Microsoft Ebay a few months back.

    • +2

Cool story bro, tell us more.

      • Been using them daily since then.

  • +1

I love my bose qc35 II's, that is a great price! enjoy!

  • Great way to undercut the new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2. Would certainly prefer the Sennheisers, but at $500, think they've pushed way too far and losing buyers to these deals from Bose and Sony.

  • +3

It looks like they are cancelling orders. QC35II back up to $499 when you go to checkout, and my order was cancelled.

  • +5

700 when adding in cart showing $599. Looks they needed it up and the mentioned price can not be achieved

  • +1

Not working for me… all prices increased by $100.00

  • If only I could stack this with TRS.

    Miss those good o’days. :(

  • +1

QC35 coming up as $399.95 when putting in voucher code. Looks like they patched it

  • We're sorry, something went wrong.
Your voucher is not applicable here. Please check its terms of availability.

  • +1

was it a price mistake or did they do the dodge and pump up the price….

  • +1

Looks like they fixed their error, no double stacking the $100 off….

  • Lol…prices changed now

  • +1

price is jacked back up! Did any one manage to get one?

    • +1

I purchased it for $299.95 after the $100 discount via paypal. Checked my paypal account and it said pending. Came back 10 mins later and it was cancelled.

    • Managed to order the 700 for $399.95, minus another $10 using cashrewards. Genuinely thought it was the correct price and a good deal. Order still not cancelled, but I paid using cc, not via PayPal.

  • +1

Being at home with the kids has made me cherish my ANC headphones.

  • +1

The refurb ones are $299 (no discount)

Where do you see the qc35II for $399 before the code? All I see is the price of $499 then it becomes $399 with code.

    • it was.. then they changed it. per alot of other people comments above

  • I have QC35II for close to 2 years - not worth the RRP imo.
$300 - maybe, if you love the design and need a status symbol.

  • Did anyone receive any notice about their order from bose? it would be nice of them to tell us if it was cancelled at least..

    • I got an e-mail from them at 11pm last night with a copy of one of my invoices attached.

      I ordered 2x QC35ii's for $299.95ea and 2x airline adapters for $9ea. I purchased them in 2 separate transactions.

The invoice shows an amount of $358.95 - I checked my CC statement which shows I was only charged $308.95

Still waiting on the other invoice to come through

      • thanks! maybe theres hope then

        • Looks like I might have spoken too soon. Both transactions no longer appear on my credit card!

          • +1

@tight-ass: Courier driver just delivered one pair of headphones - strange given the transaction no longer shows on my CC account

            One more pair to go

            • @tight-ass: Did you get any notice that they shipped or they just turned up at your place?

              • @crazy94boy: I received an e-mail from BOSE with a link to the Startrack tracking information after it had been delivered, but nothing prior to that.

I actually rang Bose that morning for an update as I hadn't heard anything and she said there was nothing on system to show that it had been sent out yet, however the shipment of the orders are being delayed due to supply issues related to COVID-19

As I mentioned in an earlier post it appeared on my CC statement for a few days then disappeared and hasn't returned since.

  • Is there a way to subscribe to future deals about the product? (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/bose-quietcomfort-35-ii)

Been desperate to get these headphones and so gutted I missed out this deal by 9 freakin days !!!

Best deal I can find thus far are the refurbished ones for $300 and I'm quiet tempted to get these https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/products/headphones_outlet/qui…

    Thoughts?

    • Do a search for e.g. "QC35 II" in the top right, and then somewhere at the top of the page will be an option to create an alert. You'll be emailed about any deals containing QC35II

I rang up on Thursday asking how my order was progressing as I got an order number after buying it for $299.95 - the lady said my order had been cancelled because their payment system went down so she placed the order again for me - She confirmed the price was $399.95 and I said no, I used the Easter2020Au voucher and it was $299.95 - she then processed it for $299.95 and delivered today. If you got an order number for $299.95 give them a call.

    • +1

Thanks for the tip.. i did the same and have now re-placed my order. It would have been nice of bose to at least tell us the orders were cancelled since the rep on the phone seemed to be aware of it.

    • I just did the same as well.
