    Code not working… ;-)

  • Any pixel fiends used this and willing to comment?
Is this a bang for buck champ?

Or…is this another new member Amazon seller using OZB as a springboard for a high margin glossy-on-the-outside product?

    Not judging, just cautious.

I'm curious as well. Having a brand name sensor is only half the game, having the right software and processor to keep up is the other half. An example would be my Xiaomi Mi9T, it has a sony camera sensor capable of 4k30 but one of the previous updates broke the way the device handled processing priorities and we ended up with 4k15, It's only just been fixed by a recent update.

Likewise, if the software and processor are crap, this wont be worth it.

I reckon the seller should upload some 4K footage from this thing to a dropbox account so we can see the full size videos and scrutinize.

    • Also note this camera is being shipped from overseas, and would appear to not have a touch screen.

      Also:

Supports up to 32GB Micro SD Card.

That's a pretty restrictive limitation if correct.

  • It has driving mode, I will use it as a dash camera.

  • Whinge on customer service, audio & video quality, battery life

A review, although they praise it, the video quality looks terrible to me..

Another review, but the video looks quite good

    • Same clip posted twice - not sure if I missed a joke or not. I agree though that is a fair rotten representation of 4k on my HQ screen. I have a cheap 1440 dash cam which is MILES clearer, sharper, better colour, smoother motion and takes a 256GB card.

No bang for buck evidence here just yet. Still, keeping an open mind (if not an open wallet). At this stage I wouldn't even pay $20 for this.

        Sorry
This was meant to be the last link

        • Thanks, I was fairly sure it was a fat finger:)

This footage is much better, so may be worth it after all. Still concerned about that first clip so I'll wait/look for further info.
