"It does look great for daytime driving but for night it's black hole,it won't be much cop for recording night time accidents."

Thank you for your question.Looks like not a real 4K. Night time video pretty bad, can't make out any plates.
Why is it that car cameras can be so cheap with higher resolution yet my webcam is a decade behind.
That's true. I guess high-resolution webcams need good processing power to compress the video so it can be sent over the internet (though I'm not sure if they actually do this), whereas dashcams can just save raw video? Also need decent clarity in the sensor, dashcams can get away with less quality and graininess, though ideally they'd have good light input for recording at night. If you want a 4k webcam, the best contender I seemed to find was the Logitech Brio.
Yeah, uploading a stream of 1080P HD video from a webcam is generally not a good idea.
SO it is battery operated? HOT Australian summer will kill the battery.
do you have CAPACITOR version?
Hi dear
It comes with a lithium battery, but it is not enough to provide power for a long time. Generally, it needs to be connected to the car charger for normal use.
Sorry. I don't have CAPACITOR version.
Generally speaking you won't get a camera with a 4k sensor at this price, even 1080p is doubtful. In my experience any cheap import devices will advertise and save video files in a high definition format but are only capable of producing 720p as the sensor that is actually used to convert light into a digital signal isn't a high resolution device. You end up with a video file that says it's 4k but the image quality is only 720p.
My friend, in fact, I plan to deal with this batch of products at a loss, and then I do n’t plan to sell it anymore. The COVID-19 is too serious.
Any reviews for this particular model? Concerned about reliability and warranty
