A pricier brand for sit-stand desks but if you were planning to buy one not a bad time. If you were not thinking Vari(desk) then there are cheaper options for a sit-stand desk but quality varies.

They seem pretty bulletproof, but we had a lot of salary sacrificed varidesks abandoned to storage at work when they did a full refurb to upgrade everyone to motorised standing desks… they were too difficult for people to get from work to home.
We were looking at the IKEA last week (https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/idasen-desk-sit-stand-black-dar…) but no stock. Considering this one instead.
Dont bother with ikea desks, they're wobbly

Anyone ever tried one of the standing mats? Are they worth it?
Yes. Their mats are very good. It feels like standing on a cloud.
I have their ProPlus36, highly recommend it. Much better quality than the ones from OW IMO.
I like the gel matts, I have one at work and just pulled the trigger on one for home.
I do not like the standing desk contraptions.
I bought myself one of the electric standing desks from ikea.
I love it, though in my current place, on the carpet. It wobbles a lot. (the new design mentioned by Sydgun may have fixed the wobble issue.)
Bought one in 2017, Best quality only regred should go for the dual-monitors model.
Was just looking into these last week. They look pretty good and 10%+ freeshipping I think makes it really appealing.. Main reason I am not hitting go was they dont have a 60" one which I need for my 3 monitor display setup.
Any one has any recommendations for desks with the following specs?
My wish list includes
-60"
-Sit/stand
-handles 100kg weight
-on wheels. (I cant find one with the above 3 plus this in Aus)
dont care if its manual or electric
I agree. The single monitor item is too narrow - not enough space for a normal size keyboard.
Perfect timing! I had a Pro Plus 36 (desk converter) at the office. They're brilliant. Easy to use and excellent quality.
I was planning on buying my own but since I need a desk too I've decided to get a standing desk (https://www.vari.com/au/en/standing-desk-48x32/FD-SD4832.htm…) instead.
Not sure this is a deal…they have been reluctant to give any deals when the competition sometimes has been more than half off and with more warranty period.
