32 wipes? What are these, for rich kids?

    • +4

It is more for the reusable pouch which you buy the refill, put the wipes into the pouch and take it out with you or use it at home

      • I've never even seen the refill before…

        • +1

Just buy 400 wipes refill to keep filling up?

          • -1

@SnoozeAndLose: When the 80 pack wipes are $2 each, the refills are more expensive than a whole pack.

            • @ATangk: Not easy to carry the whole pack of 80 going out. Also hard to find $2 during pandemic

              • +4

@SnoozeAndLose: If anything it is more of a hassle for parents to be going to pull out a 400 pack to refill a pouch of 32…

If it were me I would open multiple packs around the house and when they get around to half size, throw it into the travel bag and open a new one for home.

                • @ATangk: Too many if in your situation, you may use more outside then at home as you have access to more resource at home. Also can you argue that you will bring lots of paper towel.or facial tissue out.

                • @ATangk: Great to know someone else does this. Thought i was being a tight arse (which is true…)

              • @SnoozeAndLose: plenty of stock at supermarkets

            • +2

@ATangk: One of the main reason of using this pouch is a standard 80wipes pack are usually pretty heavy. This reusable pouch is handy if you just want to bring it outside for a quick lunch and put this pouch in the mummy bag or hang on the pram handle

              • @littlesoldier: See the other reply I just made.

              • +1

@littlesoldier: I think Atanhk is either doeen't have kids or doesn't need to take care of kids. We have at least 4 and it is very useful to put 20 wipes each to use it while we are out.

              • -1

@littlesoldier: is it really that hard to use a ziplock sandwhich bag over and over. this is a waste of money.

                ETA
ok, i'll eat my words. just bought one for the pouch.

                • +3

@TEER3X: I thought the same thing to use ziploc bags. But sometimes you only have one free hand to open the pouch and grab the wipes. This clutch solves the issue.

            • @ATangk: 400 refill pack has been $10 or less before.

              • @Bigboomboom: If you bought 5 packs and used S&S…

                • @ATangk: Refill pack is also eligible for S&S.

                  • @Bigboomboom: I was talking about the past deal but that is no longer the case. These are sold by Huggies so no S&S.

  • Clutch 'N' not Go is what I usually do if I run out of wipes :(

  • Yes, was gonna say how expensive for 32 wipes, but looking at camel camel camel it is close to it's lowest price, like you said you are mostly paying for the travel pouch.

  • +3

This price is for the reusable pouch rather than the wipes itself

I bought from Coles which cost me over $6 and have been pretty happy with it

Not a lot of similar product in the market for reusable wipe pouch so I think this price is not bad

  • Worth it. Keeps them moist and ready to go.

    • +4

Might grab one for my gf.

  • These are great. Don't last forever (the adhesive on the plastic door will come off and ruin it, might last a year possibly two).

Yes you refill using ordinary wipes. You put them in like a pencil case, it's easy.

They label it as a new product but it isn't. There was something just like it before that they stopped making for about a year. Thankfully they've got this product again!

    Recommended.

    This is cheap too.

  • Happy to see people find this pouch useful

  • There's something about the Huggies wipes that leaves my kids with red welts in tender areas. We have two of these pouches. Contents went in the bin, then stocked the pouches with wipes from costco that seem to be safe on their skin.
I'm sure I paid a lot more than this deal for the pouches, but fantastically convenient.

    • Same! Huggies give a rash, but these pouches are great.

  • Can get these empty ones @ aliexpress for about $usd2. With AUD tanking lately, it not much of a bargain. anymore.
